Class of March 2013 Part 45
Marcher, you did well. There are LOTS of exposed rocks in the area including a famous or infamous one: Stone Mountain. Where we're going is a smaller example that is access restricted for ecological research. If the weather doesn't warm up, we'll reschedule.
This is Stone Mountain. It's the center of a private park. Panola is a smaller version.

Marcher, you can talk geology all day long and I won't get bored! Can we talk more about the specific soil profile that is the niche for that Coreopsis??
You might think I'm joking, I'm totally not.
Happy soberversary, marcher and Budd!!!!

Trach I hope you don;t mind but I resized the pic.
I'm not sure about anyone else, but pics that are too big screw with the formatting and make it really hard for me to navigate the rest of the page.
This is a great pic resizer:

Thanks, Dee!
I'm always of two minds about pics - I enjoy many of them but do find that my old eyes have a hard time with the resulting tiny print. This is perfect - beautiful pic, sized just right :-)

Good morning Marchers It's a humid old Paradise again, here everyone walks around with shiny faces at this time of the year.
Thanks for the soberversary wishes, I had forgotten the 9th in my anticipation of the Three Years coming up. Speaking of which North said a few pages back ....
and Toots suggested PMs sent to me which are simply collated together. So let's run with that eh?
I'm suggesting we make the theme being Marchers of 2013 and how being a Marcher has brought us to where we are now.
I'll bring our posts together in a letter to SR. What if we said around about 300 words so it doesn't get too long? Cut to the essentials of how Marchering 2013 style has got you where you are now?
I think a lot of people doing it alone could find tremendous support in joining a class instead of going it alone. After 45 parts in under three years we are kinda proof of that.
Have a good day all.
ETA Oh yeah and I thought I wouldn't share the post with all of you until it goes up -- just so you have a fun read for the big month. Whatdyathink?
ETA2 Yep Dee I agree with what you said re posting the letter, I'll put it up on behalf of everyone unless someone else would like to.

I like the idea of a letter quite a bit. As a writer, my advice is to have every Marcher who wishes contribute (with a maximum word count) on a common theme (for thematic unity). The diversity of our experiences may demonstrate to readers that there are many paths to recovery and a variety of strategies to keep sober. My other advice is NOT to have the writers in the group edit the piece: we tend to take over and rewrite everything so it has a consistent voice. This should be a community many-voices piece, IMHO.

Hiya babs!
I'm home sick with bronchitis. My lungs feel like they're being scraped from the inside with razor blades. Grrrrr.
Sorry I'm whiny.
They've got me on codeine cough syrup. I like how it calms my lungs. Don't like the feeling. I wouldn't say I'm loopy, I've always had a high painkiller tolerance. Go figure. But it just makes me feel "off" enough to not like it.

Good morning Marchers Paradise is doing it's thing this morning, plenty of sunshine and blue sky, I'll bet you are surprised to hear that.
Thank you so much for the Letters to SR which have come in so far. I'm having the best time reading them , they are so lovely and heartfelt. I feel sure that they will encourage other SR members especially those who haven't joined a class.
North:
Poor old We, bronchitis is an awful illness, do take care of yourself. You didn't sound anymore loopy than you usually do.
Oh dear. That doesn't sound right does it.
It's almost the weekend here. Have a good Thriday all.
ETA Trachy I forgot to say that the landscape in your photo is absolutely stunning.

There are, dee, but this works the best when my lungs get this bad. Thankfully, it's not triggering. There's other stuff in there, probably meant to dull the opiate "feeling."
Heck I don't even want my new "doc," ice cream. Nothing sounds good actually. Somebody call a whaaaaaambulance.
