I just read up on the detox. You have to be actively drinking for them to take you in. It's purely to get you to dry out over 5 days , So what do I do? forgo my day and a half and have another drink til I get there? When I'm in a positive mindset .

Five days in a medicated haze isn't going to do it sweetie. I think you know that.
Please call rehabs until you get a bed. Or go to the er. I learned with c that if we pressed the urgency, a bed magically became available.
