I figured out that I see my friends on average about once a month, and none of them is available to go to a movie, or a play. I see them for coffee, or lunch, and I find talking about "stuff" and listening to them airing their stress not enjoyable. I need to vent, I find this fatigue and brain fog s making me cry with frustration. I don't want to go to the wedding and I'm thinking of just writing off the price of the ticket. Time spent with my brother is very stressful, none of it is refreshing. My sister and her husband always argue, everyone drinks too much, I'm tired, I don't want to talk small talk at the wedding.
I want friends I can do stuff with, but here is not possible, so I think I should move but I've no energy to think about this. I feel stuck. I don't want to drink, but I didn't expect to feel this lousy at almost 2 and a half years. I know I just have to keep muddling through, what else can I do. I will see my gp in the new year.
Thanks.
I wish that all of us weren't so very geographically separated, Leshar. I know that we would all be great friends in real-life, too.

I just saw that it is going to be in the low to mid 70s here on Christmas.

Unbelievable.

My post should have said it would be in the 70s on Christmas Eve but even the mid to high 60s forecasted Christmas Day is about 25 degrees warmer than normal.

What Leigh said.
And you are never dreary Leshar.
I think you are a little hard on yourself, a trait I recognise because I share it.

Gosh wolfie, your library is building up nicely. Are you buying hard copies of all of these books, or e-books?

I have about 230 e-books right now to read.

Nite.

I don't find you dreary at all Leshar. It can be overwhelming to think of everything at once.

I notice the older I get the less I am inclined to do things simply for other people - I do them for myself, because I want to, or need to.

I find it to be a way less stressful way to live

All those decisions don't need to be made today - try and relax

D

Seasons Greetings Julyers. Just a quick check in, to wish you all a happy and healthy holiday. Sorry I didn't have time to catch up on the posts, but have been thinking of you all lately so needed to pop in. It so comforting to know that sobriety beats on here in SR, especially with all seasonal libation temptation. No worries, I have held steady. I truly wish you all joyous family memories during this time of year. Be well Wendy, Dee, Wolfie, Bob, Crois, Leshar, Venus, Soberleigh and to all of you on this journey in our class of July 2013. xoxox Nikki
