Hosted a holiday party last night. I am so grateful to have remained sober, and beyond thankful to have chosen a life without alcohol- especially this morning. Cleaning up after the party before bed and then waking without a hangover = priceless! SR and everyone here

Well done to all the milestoners, another great list ! It does the heart some good to see all the commitment and strength here ! Keep marching on !
Hey Efra, hang in there ! I know what that urge is like to isolate. At times, I feel the same way especially now that I've been let go. But I know that isolating breeds really negative thinking (building dungeons in my mind) and I need loving support and fresh air in order to move forward. So, stay here Efra and grab that support !

Wow what a difference actually being sober.....others were still drinking and normally I would be smashed by the time everyone arrived. ..God only knows how i even managed to cook for people drunk!?!?!...i must say totally enjoyed tonite....what a wonderful feeling. Next Sunday Im cooking a sober roast dinner for everyone.
