Hey all, yeah fall has been good so far, been very busy with work, just enjoying the best time of year for sports, my Canucks aren't even doing that bad so far and they were written off for dead before the season started. Got a pass for the ski hill here for the first time in forever so looking forward to getting back into that as I spend too much time in winter normally just sitting around.

Sorry for the very delayed response, my work have recently started monitoring and aggressively reporting everyone's internet access, didn't want this site popping up, have now acquired a old iPad from a friend for personal stuff.
Share went very well, or people certainly said so, I felt like a shell afterwards. Unfortunately since I've fallen out of love with that meeting, it's on a Friday night and I either have my girls over every other Friday or am heading off to new partners for the weekend so with having to get to the meeting super early cos I was doing teas and coffees it started to really get in the way so have walked away for abit to stop myself resenting the time spent there. There's another group of Tuesday's I've been going to cos they do the chips but it's a very big meeting and feels a little impersonal so need to look for another one. I'm about to move out of the area while some work gets done on my house so have told the Friday group I'll be getting there as and when I can. I think they've all thought "ooo look, someone's carefully constructing a relapse, best stay away from that guy" as I've not been for 3 weeks and not had a call or text from anyone. Never mind, I know I'm not and I've got good support from my teatotal partner so not a huge loss but I will get back there once the house is finished in the summer.
Hope everyone had a good Xmas and New Year, I'm very much looking forward to 2018 in a very calm, slightly underwhelmed, one day at a time way

It sounds like you've been through a lot of changes. Good man -- do what it takes, and then do it some more. Listen to other people with good recovery, but in the end, you have to decide for yourself -- you'll be ok, as long as you keep choosing the things that keep you sober.

Rolled up my first year on Tuesday, going to Friday meet tonight exactly a year on from walking in shaking, puffy and jangled and said "my name's Andrew and I, without a shadow of a doubt, am an alcoholic" - should be emotional!

Hey all, just swinging by this fine spring to say hey. Hope everyone is doing well still. Not much going here out of normal, got lots of skiing in this year for the first time in a long time, still slowly chipping away at the house stuff but mostly done that now. Got golf a few weeks around the corner now that the snow is gone so super stoked for that. Other than that not much to report, the beast pops up once in awhile and gives it a try to see if I wasn't paying attention, but we've got a decent handle on him now.

Hi December! I hope anyone who happens by is doing fine. After a 10 day trip to Mexico City in June, I'll be working all summer on a book and some smaller projects.
Things have surely changed for me since Dec. 2012 -- thank goodness. I tremble to imagine where I'd be now if I hadn't quit.

a very good day! bought a new fit bit versa watch that I have been eyeing for awhile. Got the boat loaded to go camping Wednesday. Just have to get through 46 hours of work between now and then!
