I'm sitting here, looking at a beautiful big tree outside....for the last time.
They are taking all of my trees today.
I screamed, I yelled, I think I even swore at someone.
Dee, do you remember they did this last year? Now they are ruining my life completely. Yep, that's how I feel. Melodramatic and furious.

So I am pretty glad we are having this conversation again, because this is the first time in a long time that I just thought about going to buy wine. I am so upset.
I'm not going to do it. It won't help. I know that.

Sorry to just launch in with my stuff.

I remember V - I hoped I'd left that behind at my old place but they do that here too - I had a lovely tree outside my kitchen when I moved in...gone.

I understand health and safety but I can't believe that no tree is better.

There's not much you can do as a tenant unfortunately.

Thank you Dee, and I'm sorry about your tree.

I was just telling myself that there would be nothing I could do even if I owned...the two trees that are going are on the other side of the fence.

This is life...again....the sort of thing I have always raged against, making myself sick. It doesn't help me to deal with things this way. So I guess I have to get over it.

Aw! So sorry to hear that, V. I wish there was something I could do. That would irritate me as well.

Ack! Every time I try to attach a pic, I lose my post. This iPad probably needs some updating.

Yes, we have everything except ties for the guys. We just got our marriage license and it's so hard to believe that it's less than two weeks away!!! Ive had a serious case of "bride brain" lately, just hard to focus, wake up in the middle of the night, all the details are overwhelming at times. But I'm doing my best to just roll with the emotions. I wish I could post a pic, but the dress is ivory lace, a-line, knee-length, sleeveless...I bought a beautiful red coat to wear from the chapel to our reception lunch...and I decided to go ahead and splurge on help with hair and makeup. I really believe that it's going to be beautiful. I just wish it would hurry up and get here. Lol

Oh I would really not like that either V. I work hard to keep an area of natural tranquility out back because it's nice whether I'm out there or seeing it from inside. Is it some ordinance about trees close to buildings? I wouldn't want a really tall tree close to my house because it's not that uncommon for severe storms to topple them around here. Other than that though I generally dislike seeing mature trees toppled.

That's super great Conquest! Boy do I ever think it's easier being a guy. Just be clean and show up.

The people next door are re-doing their driveway Mark (and then I believe building up, so then I am definitely moving).
And it isn't two trees, it's four.

The dress sounds lovely Conquest...it would be great to see it, but I can imagine it. I'm sure you will look beautiful. Two weeks? Wow.

I just realised that the biggest tree is on our side of the fence. But in a block of flats, majority would rule I guess, and everyone else disagrees with me. The tree drops thousands of tiny flowers, and people get it on their shoes. Have they not heard of doormats?

OK, I'll stop now. Thank you for letting me get this out.

Oh Vee that really stinks. Maybe you could plant some perennials or smaller trees/bushes to take their place? I often say that when a tree is removed in a garden is often for the benefit of other plants. A fresh start.

Hey Conquest, I remember how anxious I was. Two weeks is close! Try to enjoy the anticipation of it right now. I know easier said than done, but when this whole thing is over your going to want it back again.

Ok. Let's bathe a five month old, Arbor...

Yeah Mark quite the challenge as he cant sit up yet. So you have to hold him while you wash him. Easier said than done. He's about 20 lbs now. Big baby for his age.

The brothers are best buds already.

I'm sorry, v.

I really love trees and hate it when one falls or is taken down.

That makes me smile, Arbor. I'm so happy for your growing family!

Big hugs, V. I like the idea of planting some perennials...I've got a lemon tree in a pot on my patio. It has done very well, yielding about twenty lemons this year. But I totally understand your sadness.

The above applies to many things. Man this has me thinking about how my little one is beginning to mature into a young lady. I noticed as much a couple of days ago and it made me stop in my tracks for a moment. She's only 11!, but evidently that's the norm for girls. Seems like yesterday I was bathing her.

One of my favorite working out songs I listen to is 'So caught up in you.....little girl'. I know it was written in a different context but it pretty much sums up how I feel about my little one. I know when this whole thing is over I'll want it back again!
