Congrats to the milestoners, keep up the good work. There are marvellous benefits which are immeasurable from each step we take !
On a personal note, I was told yesterday that I am being let go from work today. The company has run into financial difficulty and they had no funds for my projects. Initially it was tough to swallow and my bosses were very apologetic for failing me (as they put it). Still it leaves me without a job before Christmas. I did/do feel very sad for my family more than me. However, there is no anger or bitterness. In the grand scheme of things, it is simply a job. Nothing more. I am grateful that I had no urge to self-destruct as a result of being sober . This in turn, makes me grateful to you all as I gain so much strength and fortitude from this thread and your enduring support. So, thank you so so much !
Another 24 hours of gratitude, patience and sobriety pls ! Its 7:25am here !
