Waffles sound great Conquest. I made a thing called Dutch baby a couple days ago. I had never hear of that and it was good.
Leaving after I finish at work phoebe. I hope to be on the road by 5:30. Hope the class goes well.

A few days off after the holiday weekend should be nice, briar. If your kiddo is in school and your hubby is at work, you can get some time to "just be". I'm all for that precious time. And I understand the sleep cravings. After a morning of shopping with my mom for paper plates, napkins, and plastic forks, I'm back in bed for a nap. The littlest things seem to wear me out big time-sometimes. Keep hanging in there love.
Briar ~ you have overcome so much this year. You are an amazing person, and I am so proud to be your friend...and I do not want this to bring you down. You sound so depressed love, and we all want you to feel better.
Please consider even seeing your GP.
Or a nutritionist...perhaps some high protein drinks that might give you your energy back.
I know you don't want to eat, but you need some sustenance. It will help.

Ha! Love it V. Poor Lionel...no longer the star.
Conference was good. Got my six credits towards my licenses that are up for renewal this year. Was a quick day. Don't know where it went.
One more work day tomorrow that starts with the dentist. Hope everyone's in good spirits.

I love 'Hello', got '25' the day it came out, playing it over and over in the car.
DD surprised me getting home a bit early and we were able to take her to dinner last night before she went out with friends. We are spending Thanksgiving with DH's family this year. My niece is hosting-I have a huge turkey to cook, along with sausage stuffing and gravy. I've done this many times-even have a thermal travel bag for the turkey. I'll make the stuffing tonight after the gym.
Enjoy your day my friends! Mine is sure to be crazy busy.

Good morning folks. Hope all are doing okay this morning, and for those in the US, hope you are not too crazy with holiday prep.
I have cookies to drop at school, which puts me conveniently near the good farm stand/food store for my fresh veggies, fresh apple cider, and anything else I see.
I plan to make a pumpkin pie and a chocolate pudding pie today, my daughter does not like pumpkin. Both are easy. I hope to have all my prep pretty much done tonight, stuffing made, and table set. I always forget about the table, when its just us, until the last minute, lol! Then, tomorrow, I can relax and just make the turkey and cook everything that has been prepped. Sounds like a good plan, anyway.
Somewhere in there, I hope the family helps me get the downstairs of the house clean. This includes making daughter care for(read clean cage and scoop poo) the pets she so desired.
I love Thanksgiving at home. Relaxing, not crazy. Not a crowd person.

Good morning and happy Wednesday gang.
Sausage stuffing sounds great BD. Cornbread dressing reigns supreme around home and there are so many variations of that. Great thing is I like 'em all!
Phoebe, how did obedience class go?
Today looks to be a good one

I had never heard of it either Arbor, but they were talking it up in the weekender thread and I googled it. It's kind of like a fluffy pancake. I used a recipe from epicurious that calls for a topping of lemon zest sugar and it was great....my little one loved it. It's fun to watch them bake and there are lots of topping variations. We added a little cool whip on top.
Glad you got those CEUs done.

Pupy class was ok, not great, Mark! Hux pulled so hard toward other dogs and it took him awhile to settle down, then one of the classmates allowed her dog to touch noses with him, which made him once again lose all focus and go crazy. My back is sore from all the lunging and tugging! That was very bad class etiquette and dog etiquette of her to let hers come so close with out engaging me and asking first. I was not looking and he about pulled me over. He is not usually so bad! He was so excited to be there. And, her dog is a tiny Bichon, who would easily be flattened by Huxley. He is 45 pounds and strong, and well, my back is aching today and I have a lots of food prep and cleaning I wanted to do. But, the teacher is great, with lots of encouragement and very specific advice. I think she will help us a good deal. He is generally good, and of sweet temperament, but as puppies do, he gets mischievous, and counter surfs and needs obedience. And, tugs on the leash!
