You off today Arbor? Did y'all have much autumn color this year? Pretty lacking here....basically just went to brownish.

Gotta do some packing but had to get an injection in my shoulder this morning and I'm hurting a bit....should be better soon though. I always procrastinate on the packing but I work tomorrow and want to pull out immediately afterwards. I'm ready for a change of scenery!

Yes, I got loads done yesterday. I have two hours left to do then the inspection in four hours. So I'll see you all later. Wish me luck.

Nah...working today. Off Thursday and Friday. Three day work weeks sound good to me.

Colors were great I thought. Most if not all leaves are down now. Chilly today. High of 40.

Hey everybody! I had a sober blast with the girls and am now back home. We ate too much and slept too little so I'm in need of a nap. Looking back at the anxiety I had yesterday, it was mostly about driving. Thankfully the weather is gorgeous and it all went well, virtually no temptation to drink as there were only a few that had a drink at dinner.

And yes. Woohoo for vacation week! I'm off and going to call carpet cleaners to come to the house tomorrow. It's not often that I treat myself to help with housework, but it's worth every penny when I do. First...Nap time.

Venus, I hope your inspection goes well. It'll feel so nice to have it all done.

Glad you had a blast Conquest. I've never been to a spa but maybe would consider a massage as I sometimes receive gift cards (and give them away). Would maybe feel weird to me but I'd probably soon relax and just enjoy.

Seems as though you were up early today V.....sounding very productive.

Yes Mark, I got up at 5.30. It feels good. The place is all sparkly but my back is not happy. I keep thinking of you phoebe. It must be so hard to have a bad back.

It's a lot to deal with some times for sure Arbor, being the dad of little ones. It certainly involves lots of give give give. Desire for an escape makes perfect sense to me. Don't forget this work week is short. Maybe you'll have the chance to steal away for a bit.

Early bedtimes are good too if you can manage it!

I did way too good of a job making this place look spiffy....the RE loved it! And then told me my rent is going up again.

I hope the inspection went well! I am sure it did.

I know my back is there every day! I just watch what I do. I do think the exercises I have been trying to do, with this new eating dieting thing is helping my back. Lots of core work. Oh, and I am down about 4 pounds. Nothing extreme, but better than nothing heading into the holiday season. I wish I could go all out on the house for an entire day! It needs it! I think I need to hire help, just once a month. Then I can keep up in between.

A little help sounds like a great idea phoebe. I'm sometimes astounded at how the washer/drier never stop. The kitchen is always seeing action and this time of year with the sun coming in at certain angles there are cob web things way up high in places that are showing up.

Well V, with all my big talk encouraging you to take on your chore I have managed to procrastinate (again) on packing for our trip. I don't know why I do that.....every time. So here goes....
