Morning loves! Hope everyone had a super Satirday! Mine ended up wonderful with my trucker and a dinner date! He makes my heart so happy and full! We've had a rough patch but yesterday had a long talk and it really helped. It helped that I truly listened and not closing my ears concentrating on my reply.
Today off to church and doing some house cleaning later! Hope everyone has a nice Sunday! ((Hug)) to all the peeps here!

Thanks, everyone. Yes, I'm able to walk away from the condo so I will just keep looking!

Hi all,
I'm feeling blue and tired. Not sure if this business over the condo is why, but I imagine it is part of it. It's just that I've been doing well since I got out of hospital two weeks ago and I worry when I feel a shift in my mood. I had a long nap and will have a bath later and read my script for the audition tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
I will say I'm very glad not to be drinking, no matter what disappointments there are in life, going back there would be a disaster. Stay strong, my lovelies!

Hi, Leshar. My bet is that you are feeling some buyer's 'letdown'; you were excited about the condo and then found out about the parking issue - very understandable.

Hoping you feel better after a bath and rest, sweetheart.

Hi gang,
It's been a nice Sunday.
Sunny day and not too cold. I took Leah for a couple of walks.
Visited my parents house and watched my Patriots beat the Redskins.
Had a nice roast pork dinner with lots of garlic.
Now I'm just relaxing by the wood stove watching some TV. I'll watch The Walking Dead later tonight.

You know, everyone(in the secular) world seems to think drinking and watching football all day is relaxing.
The football is cool, but I don't think alcohol helped me relax any.
In fact I'm beginning to think it caused more drama and stress than I previously thought.
Before it was always at the back of my mind how to get the booze, and if I had enough to last all Sunday. Then the hangover all day Monday.
Now I think about when I want my bowl of ice cream.

There were two reasons I drank....one was to stop feeling so ill due to the hangover from the day before, and the other was to get blitzed. It never even occurred to me that people drink to relax.

I love football too, and when I think back to all of the amazing games I 'missed' (I saw them, but blacked out), I just feel annoyed with myself. How did I ever think I needed to be blitzed to enjoy a football game? I love it now Bob; watching sport sober is awesome!

I think of how many movies I watched while blitzed; I'd wake up the next morning and couldn't remember how the movie ended. I was often too embarrassed to ask my husband.

We went out for wings and football. Ofcourse first question is which beer special do you want? None thank you.
I dont need to feel like death on Monday. Go all day needing a hair of the dog at the end of monday to feel semi okay again. Only to have the cycle repeat.

So what you call a"beer special" can be a sentence back to the viscious cycle for me.

You know when people ask what is your favourite movie?

I have never told the truth. Not once. The truth is I have no idea...I don't remember most of the movies I saw for around 15 years.

Hi all, I had a nice soak and I'm feeling better.
Leigh, I'm just the same when it comes to so many movies. I'm watching Dexter on Netflix. The last time I watched it, almost three years ago, I woke up on the couch in the morning having passed out at some point. What a hangover I had! I'm glad those days are over!

Dexter was my favourite TV show ever. And funnily enough, I never watched it drunk...it was more important to me than my drinking. What's that about?

Enjoy Leshar.
Glad you are feeling better.
