HeartsAFire- sober trick or treating mama here too!
Walking around with a wine glass or a beer is a 'thing' for parents here on Halloween....there is also a boozy block party around the corner tonight. Not for me! Setting a better example for a sober future for my kids, I pray. Hot apple Cider with cinnamon sticks all around!

Happy Hallowe'en!
Went out with my husband to my home group to celebrate birthday night and see fellow members get their chips or cake. It was a happy fun time and I drank too much coffee and talked to way more people than my introverted self is used to.
I got home wired on caffeine and excitement so I ended up playing a video game until I finished it at 2 am and then woke up late feeling almost hungover this morning. Still, it was nothing like if I had been drinking. So great to be sober and have new friends.
And with that, I will happily take another 24 hours, please.

goodnight depending where you are.
38 years ago I was 10 years old and on this night I drank my first beer, I was treat or treat in my country, somebody offer me a beer and the rest is history I was hook, and 36 years later I stop with God's help.
I got a new granddaughter and is I work on 1 day at the time I may see her grow up.
my financial happy to say that I pay almost everybody, and that soon I will be driving again.
I'm grateful to you, AA, and God, for give me the strength to guide me, hold me and love me went I could not do it for myself.
