Every kid seems to love those door stops; I remember I did.

I can still remember the expression on my younger brother's face when he discovered them. It was as if he struck gold. He crawled from room to room, laughing and squealing.

The rain is welcomed here as long as it stays light. We definitely need it. There have been some nasty moments, but they've been pretty brief.

I'm volunteering today at church and need to swing by the grocery store on the way home... This is definitely gumbo weather. I've got a semi-healthy version that I personally love. I use chicken, shrimp, and turkey sausage. The rue is made using a dry mix that's pretty low calorie and I use little oil. (Gasp!!! Haha). I may need to give it a go tonight...

Enjoy your Sundays! Sipping pumpkin spice coffee and browsing the ads in the paper with my SR friends...It's off to a great start.
Did you say Gumbo? What time is dinner, Conquest?

Have a great Sunday (or Monday in VenusVille), everyone.

May you see a friend in those you meet today.

We did not have those doorstops, but with four brothers and three sisters, we kept busy.

Arbor, this pic is for you, my great nephews, ages 4 and 1. Look what you have to look forward to!

Oh, just an eating plan, with some exercise videos. Trying to shed some weight, and get more fit. It has a set of containers, so you portion each food group in recommended quantities. Sort of like WW, but the containers replace points.

Wow BD. Archery with a four year old. Gutsy!

My three and a half year old is quite the trip lately!

I don't know about Dee, but I have never ever seen one of those door stops. Glad you explained what it is because I had no clue.

LOL. I have NEVER seen one of those before....lucky we didn't have them; my mother would have murdered us if we had made that noise over and over.

EDIT: I just watched the "dogs v doorstoppers" video in that compilation, and it is a crack up!!

Ha! Good one! A video for everything.

Definitely not something we did over and over. Just for kicks every now and then. 8)

Hey, BD, that nephew of yours is a good shot!! My daughter dabbles in archery.

Skipped the fair today and went to soccer, just the second game. Daughter scored the only, and winning, goal in the first game! I missed that one but am so proud of her. She also scored in the second game, but they did not win that one. Double header and only 1 sub. They were exhausted.

Had meatballs and sauce in the crockpot and we just finished dinner. Time for a family movie.

Pick one up for Little V, Venus! It's never too late. You won't be disappointed.

See what you started Conquest. 8)
