Class of October 2014 Part 21
Hey everybody!
I hope your session helped, Briar. That's great that you were able to get in sooner than before.
I'm a girl of few words tonight, just sleepy and a little woozy from this new antibiotic. Thankfully, I only have to take it once a day.
Keep healing, posting, and staying sober! Gnight

All that grass talk is Greek to me. I have a black thumb. Could not even keep the basil and rosemary plants alive. I should just give up on that-in fact, I do believe I am truly done with trying to grow anything.
Hope your appt went well Briar and that everyone has a lovely day.

Good morning gang. Started in at cleaning up the kitchen sink, and one thing led to another and I was outside on a step stool cleaning kitchen windows, then back in shining the stainless steel and cleaned the microwave really well, etc... I am hosting the soccer team for a get together on the weekend. Need to get things ship shape. Still things to do, but those are detailed things I often forget about, so good to have them checked off the list.
Been busy getting son ready for a trip he is taking. He went and grew a few inches this summer, so needs tons of new clothing and layers in case it is cold. It has been expensive! New winter jacket and snow pants, and he needs new boots. I did fine some snow pants at Kmart for $17.50! They are not the best, but a good extra pair for when the better ones are wet, just in general. Need that last year with all that snow, but those ones are all too small.
Gorgeous day here. Going to get to 70 degrees!
Hope you are doing better Briar, and Dee.
Grass. You boys can imagine what it looks like now that we have a dog. There is a 3 foot dead patch at the bottom of the deck steps. LOL.
TV night, V and BD! Greys and Scandal! You both watch, right?

I love the size of the tall fescue blade; it is a beautiful grass. The transition zone tends to have a lot of invasive warm weather grasses which are hard to eradicate or control without the use of something like RoundUp which, of course, kills the fescue, also; the warm weather grasses (like Bermuda) don't mix well with the cool weather grasses in coloration and appearance and have that rhizome/stolon growth pattern which tends to choke-out the fescues.
Foggy humid day around here today. Hope everyone has a great Thursday.
