One Year & Over Part 31
Toots: I am going to try to go on what I can get on carry on. I am staying with friends, so I can do laundry from time to time. I am not one who feels they have to take everything with them. Yep... passport, cash, tickets, credit card... that is what is essential! I can buy toothpaste and a t-shirt almost anywhere.
I always had to take a big suitcase when I was traveling to Nicaragua.... I needed space to carry back as much rum and cheap booze as possible! No need now.

Been treating Mrs sw to 2 massages tonight her back neck & shoulders & then I gave her a footrub she is happy : )
I'm also taking care of dinner tonight I'm making us Steak, homemade Yorkshire puds, Roast butternut squash, Roast potatoes, Broccoli & Sprouts
I also washed, dried & fitted the bedding looking forward to a nice relaxing evening I did offer to take Mrs sw to the flicks but she declined : (
The weather has been wildly fluctuating today due to hurricane Abigail 4000 ppl have lost power in Scotland & flood warnings in other areas around the uk
In London it went from dull to sunny to full on stormy then sunny & now it's just cold but the winds are picking up hopefully it won't get worse up north
Spk after guys

Congrats on 2 years Rick!!
I've been full of the 'feels' this week with Armistice Day and today, Children in Need (major UK fundraising event(s) - this evening is a big TV show showing stories of kids they are helping and lots of entertainment etc - it first started when I was 6 years old, so I have literally grown up with it! ). I can barely go a few hours without something making tears spring up! Ah well, much better to shed tears for others or in thankfulness than over my own self-made misery as was once the case!!
Hope you are all good Overs

Hiya overs.
Fbl, so pleased you got health plan sorted.
Gosh, been watching news about bombing in France, more than 120 people killed, just going about their own business, not good, not good at all.
Yes, very windy here too, Wolfie and toots!

Hey !
The UK sounds nasty outside with warm hearts inside.
Wolf,
And good food.
Mags,
You're never slow Mags, like me, you get there, that's what counts.
FBL,
I forgot to tell you I liked the story about the Armistice day blizzard too. Man, they could have died from exposure!
I'm glad you got it worked out. So what made that big lowered difference in your insurance cost?
FG,
Your heart is in the right place. And yes we can take some of that alcohol money and bring some food to the food bank, get some toiletries for battered women in shelters, or get a bag of puppy chow for the furkid shelters. Or we can sponsor someone. Thanks for the reminder that there but for the grace of a higher power go us.
Toots!
Dang, ran right by! You take care.
Drake take care!
After tonight I believe airport security will be onerous. Be careful. Nicaragua sounds warm!
IP,
Did any more come about with the boss? Rattling roof is not as reassuring as a secured roof. I hope it doesn't leak too.
Sassy, Zippy, and Gil, hi
My heart goes out to the tourists and natives of Paris tonight. The parents and children of the innocent dead.

Thanks, everybody! Turns out that I qualified for some tax credits that my old agent wasn't aware of, so that's what made the difference.
Congrats to Wolfie on 28 months and to Toots on 32 months sober!
Tragic news from Paris. What's happening to our world?
Hope all the overs have a safe weekend.
