24 more please, I'm coming up on 8 months sober in a couple of days and feeling pretty good. Hoping for a decent night's sleep, it's just begun to rain here so I'm going to open the window and listen to it whilst I doze off, love the sound of the rain! Night all

. Sadly I agree with you. Addiction, in my case, alcoholism, is serious. I haven't been around long in the rooms, but already I've seen the depths a person can go chasing this fantasy that we can "use/drink" like so-called normal people. One more time is deadly. I don't flirt, play, or try it EVEN One more time. I'm so grateful that the door to recovery inched open for me and I jumped inside.

I'm her to commit to another 24 hours of my recovery. Thankful & very grateful to my HP, AA, and SR.
