Grtgrandpa died about 1-1/2 months ago. He was having serious heart issues.

What a kind, strong and inspirational man; he gave so much to this thread and to SR; Imiss him.

Congrats to Ardy ! Great job, keep it going ! I kinda figure that life doesn't get any easier once we are sober but our ability to accept changes and focus forward though living in the present does !

Yes, me too, GrtGrndpa got sober in his 50's just like me. A role model on kindness, willingness, and helpfulness and that recovery is possible at any age. Thank you GrtGrndpa
