So i ask you fellow Julyers for any thoughts, guidance, prayers on how to get through the really rough days. I have heard 3-6 months is especially fragile and i have fallen here before. Then i read on hear about SnoozyQ and think I am i really debating this. I am insane in the brain. That was my day.

Take care all,
The Pats are looking really good this year, Let.
It was a tight one today with the Jets,but a W is a W.
We'll see what happens Thursday night when they play the Dolphins.

I found the easiest way to get through the rough times is to have something always planned to keep you busy. Get out, go shopping, see a movie. Take on a project around the house, yard or help somebody with their project. Research online something you might try. Cooking, painting, auto or refinishing.
Something you'll be proud of when you finish.
I found that keeping busy, at least for me helped a lot.

Tomorrow will be 27 months for me.

Just happened to look at the calendar and noticed it.
I spent a good part of the day alone today. Yup, just me and the pup watching the football games.

In the past I would have picked up a large bottle of vodka and wasted a day.
Sat around drinking all day and probably blacked out by now.
Wake up tomorrow very sick and drag my butt to work.

I pondered a while about the way things were.
The one thing that really scared me was the time I stayed home from work sick and then started to drink again in the morning. You know, the whole "hair of the dog thing". I looked in the mirror that morning and said to myself" yah know Bob, you really have a problem now".
And sadly it was at least a month before I strung together a little sober time.
I'm thankful,very thankful.
I hope that anybody that is struggling will look back , take a good hard look at one of your darkest moment while drunk.
Use it against that ole AV and kick this before it goes on any longer.

Snooz, that has happened to me, too, although not as much now that I make sure that the 'remember me' box is checked at log-in.

SW we all secretly root against the Patriots because they won so much. But i dislike Pete Carroll (seahwks coach)so I rooted for the Pats in the super bowl last year. They executed a near perfect game towards the end. There tight ends or receivers are so big and fast. Gronkowski carried a defensive end around his waist for 10 yards. Its insane how insync and great they are.
Regardless of the inflation or deflation of balls. They pick the right people and know how to execute.

Way to go Venus congrats on a year you have done amazing XO

Awesome news Letitgo aswell as the big book I read living sober first & it had a big impact on my early recovery. As for the Patriots winning I think the Jets done ok I heard Patriots finished strongly, I've been watching the rugby world cup this year Scotland made me so proud I want Australia to win as I had an uncle live & die in Australia (Go Wallabies)

I have just watched an excellent Ted talk here's the link
