Good to see you got through the weekend, Ladybug. I'm planning quite the Christmas this year and I'm quite fascinated with this pumpkin spice coffee.
Got a recipe, hehe...I think I'm going to do a test of it.

Checked it out Crois , I'm still not convinced lol . You'll have to tell me what it tastes like.
Are you having Christmas at your house , hosting ? That'll be nice . would you do the whole turkey shenanigans etc :
My sister wants me to go to Townsville ...but... We know how that ended even though I'd dearly love to go ....sigh

Got most of my stuff put away and moved yesterday.
We had our first frost this morning.
The Pats are on tonight on Sunday night football.
So I still have the afternoon to get stuff done.
And go for a walk with the pup later.
Hope everybody is having a nice day/night.
Way to go Key you are amazing Awesome job on 90 days
I want to congratulate Australia on winning the best game of rugby I've ever seen in my life Scotland done such a brilliant job made me proud as anything I was smiling & beaming I've lost a bit of my voice final score 35-34
Scotland were in beast mode I respect every single player in the team hopefully big sign of things to come
Drew Mitchell was awesome for Australia he done great
I think there was bad blood at the end over something I don't understand lol all I know is Australia is one of the 2 best teams in world rugby & Scotland made sure thier impression was felt they just got thier highest score against them I think
And they have made me so happy I love Scotland for that game today
Congratulations Australia I hope you guys win the cup

Spending the day home with my middle daughter Katie today. She's got the tearies with depression, poor love. I wish I could fix it.
She won't be going to work , needs some Mummy time , even at age 22 bless her .
Back later ️xxx

Hope little mini
Snooz is feeling a bit more upbeat soon,Wendy. It is a worry when our kids are depressed. It's a very helpless feeling as a Mum.
No turkey on my Christmas cooking list. Way too hot here for that. I do seafood, Thai, thai salads....and some special desserts. But also, I may do Christmas Eve, which is a bit more traditional, so maybe some pumpkin spiced coffee then?
And yes, I'm looking forward to Christmas this year because.....drumroll....I've moved back home. I haven't really talked about it because I just had a lot on packing up, finishing up at my last contract, finalising a job interstate, getting a new place which I've only just finished doing.
So yeah, I've been busy in the background, but very much looking forward to enjoying this new life and a happily sober Christmas. Every day I know none of this would have happened if I'd not worked hard after my last relapse. I'm grateful, and it's funny, I've got a Garbage CD in my car at the moment, and the lyrics to one song are; "one mistake is all it takes and your life has come undone"....and it is so true. I know now the danger in just one drink and I never want that again.
Anyway, long answer to your question Snooz, but I've been getting to this long update post for a while!

Hiya guys
Well it ended up being a really good day. Katie came with me to pick Holly up from work. There was a mentally challenged young man there who was lost.
It was a hot day , We got him a drink and sat with him waiting for his carer.
I went through his wallet and found his name but no address.
No one turned up ? He was getting quite upset so I rang the police for some guidance as to what to do.
We sat with him for over an hour til the police got there . He wanted us to go with him , bless him.
My children may not be rocket scientists or doctors or lawyers , but I swear to God I have 2 of the best human beings on earth. I was so proud of their empathy .
They both held his hands as we walked him to the police car.
Aaaaaah so proud.
Now it's off to Holly and Bekis netball game, we are running late ️xxx
Hugs to you all xx

Thanks you guys! You're the best! I've got a lot of reading to catch up on. When my hubby is home I soak it up and spend as much time as I can with him. He left out again this morning for 3 or 4 days so I'll have plenty of time to catch up. Thank you for all your kind words and support. It means a lot to be recognized by other people! ((Hug))!!
Hi everyone!
Snooz, hope your daughter feels better. How nice that you can fully be there for her, right? I'm sure Mummy time is all she needs
Crois - so, so happy for you and proud of you! That is great news about moving back home and you sound really happy about it. It sounds like you are finally reaping the benefits of sobriety and that gives me hope and motivation.
Had a bit of challenging night - AV hit me around 6pm - I really thought it through instead of acting on impulse, but the craving didn't pass for a good hour! Isn't that a bit long? Ugh, it was exhausting, but I was very thankful going to bed sober and waking up in the middle of the night without that usual remorse. Day 7 and hoping for a good and sober week!
Have a great Monday all! Be back later xxx
