Thank you Key! I think the reason I stayed sober today was because of this group. I just didn't want to come here and say "Day 1 again!".
I struggled all day long. I am over tired. Too many days in a row of dealing with boring mom/housewife work, husband driving me insane, and not enough time for myself. I just want to lay on the floor and throw a tantrum right now!

Morning all,
Patricia, I get it. Being a mom is overwhelming and under appreciated! I threw a small fit myself last night. I eventually ended upstairs by myself but happier. Up now ready for another day at work then onto housework. Try to find "some" time for yourself if you can it will make a world of difference xoxo

They are always flying over the beach. I think it's pervs so I flip them off even though I'm sure it's not me they are looking at!

Still at work, ugh. I don't know what movie had drones in it unless sci Fi like terminator or something. My 7 yr old like back to the future, but not part 2. Too long he said. I'm a fan of part 3 myself.

First time sharing
I'm coming up on 60 days sober and have been visiting the forum for support but this is my first time posting. This forum has made me realize that I'm not alone in this journey and that others can help me find strength. I just want to say thank you to everyone.

Patricia, way to hang tough! I swear I would believe in the Roman Catholic canonization process more if more moms and plumbers were made into saints. You moms (and some dads too - talking to you JL) are amazing.

JL, I love that movie too. Lots of funny predictions in it. .. BUT... The cubs will NOT win the World Series. Let's go mets!!!!
I will not be round much this weekend. I'm taking my son to visit some colleges. Hard with a non motivated kid but we shall see! We are leaving this afternoon. I took off today and tomorrow as well. I'll try to get some things done around the house before I go. It never ends !!!

I wish I could find a news website with positive news on it . There may be such, but "news" is a bad ride about things that just don't directly affect me, except to drag me down.
Last week I started drinking on Thursday. Not today. That's all the success I can work on, I guess.
I sat with my sleeping 7 yr old before I left this morning. It makes me feel better.

Morning all! Back from my trip 
Last night I woke up in the middle of the night with pain that reminded me of the pancreatitis pain when it first started out. I was so scared! Got up and took some Tums and it went away, thank goodness. It was a good reminder to me of why I don't want to drink anymore, though. I'll be celebrating two months soon!
