24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 79
Happily signing in for 24 more. Yesterday was a wonderful sober Saturday...it's amazing how many more hours there seem to be in a day when I don't drink them away! Looking forward to another sober day.

We're very glad that you came back to SR and the 24 Hour recovery thread; that is what matters. Before you know it, we will celebrate your 11 month anniversary.

24 more for me, please.
Made it thru the party with my sobriety in tact despite there being booze out the wazoo.
Two interesting observations:
#1. I wasn't even tempted! I don't drink. Period. Having that mindset helps tremendously and after 14 months it's my new normal. I can tell you with no uncertainty that I actually love it!
#2. No one (& I mean no one) got drunk, passed out, slurred their words, made an idiot of themselves, hooked up, cried or threw up. It was the craziest thing. People can actually drink normally - it's a head scratcher for sure. In this odd way it made me feel even better about sobriety.
Headed home today. Hugs & love to all.
