I'm watching the full moon, the super moon, the blood moon rise over the East River. She'll be going into her eclipse soon. I'll go up to my rooftop to continue to be able to see her. Friday I saw the pope. It's a wonderful world.

Courage - Hi! Good to see you here!

This morning one of my kids had an early hockey game. This went so differently than ever before. Last year this time I was exhausted, woke up feeling hung over most days, wasn't particularly confident in my ability to deal with how I felt, and had a hard time anywhere other than inside of my own little cocoon.

Today though I felt rested and well. I enjoyed seeing the early morning fog give way to the sun. I enjoyed noticing that some of the leaves have changed color. I felt the energy and confidence to drive myself and my other son to the rink. I am incredibly grateful for the healing that's taken place. At 19 months sober I'm still a newbie!

Can't get a better one of the full deal. Just have a camera on phone and it is not sophisticated enough to get a good shot.

I've got up early to watch the moon and it was blood red in part but I could not get a shot with my iPhone. It came out white. Courage nice one!

Have sky news on and they said there's a moon like this colour every few years but , the next like this is in 2033.

Wolfie, you're just a young pup, aren't you, 1988! Such a wise head for young shoulders!

I happened to be up late enough to see the full eclipse of the moon last night. Also saw it when it was rising and at about 75%. Quite impressive.

Courage, so great to see you here! I'm so used to reading your posts elsewhere, that I guess I thought you were already a member of the overs

Had a great, but exhausting weekend.

The radio show was a blast. The actual show was 90 minutes, but afterwards we gabbed for another 90 minutes, so I didn't get to bed until after 2am, which is WAY past my usual bedtime.

Mom's class reunion went off without a hitch. She really enjoyed herself, probably the best time she's had in years! She really came out of her shell and visited with her old friends all night long. She had a smile on her face the whole time and really transformed into her old self, at least for the night. We had some long talks on the ride down and back and it was so nice to spend some quality time with her.

Catching up on all of your posts from the weekend, then it's back to work.

Have a great Monday, overs!

Morning Overs!

Lovely eclipse - don't know if I'll be around for the next one so I decided to make the most of this one :-)

Kinda the way I thought about it too -- we got the moon and the pope and all the heads of nations here all in one weekend.

Have you all heard about the NASA announcement about flowing water on Mars?

I'm thinking the powers greater than ourselves are exerting themselves with a little more concentration than usual.

Evening overs, lovely red sky at the moment.

Sassy and courage, makes you think doesn't it. Earth and the moon and the sun will be here long after us!

Sounds like you had a brilliant weekend, Fbl , I bet your mum was so pleased.

Wolfie, 82, woops, hehe. I'm aging you now, before your time! Pics are lovely.
