Saskia - Excellent on 14 months! I'm so happy for you to reach 14 months sober, fellow Popover.
Overs - Thanks so much for all the encouragement. I never realized that I had issues with my mood before I sobered up. It's possible that booze caused it because it's a depressant, but as a card carrying alcoholic codependent double winner, it's more likely that I blamed any ups or downs on the people, places and things in my life. I'm grateful to continue getting healthier every day.
Mags - I'm glad you're breathing freely again. Any word on what may have caused the asthma attack?

Gleefan, thanks, I'm keeping a check of the wind direction, unsure if an allergy to one of the chemicals kicked out. The doc thought it was brought on by this, so I'm keeping checks. If the wind is nne I'm to take more of my asthma treatment. Time will tell, I'm not sure what brought it on, I know I work where there is a lot of stuff going in the atmosphere.

My office is finally starting to come together. Still working from the kitchen island for a few more days.
Drought is still hanging in there. We went from six months of floods to drought for months. Insane! And temps here are still in the upper 80s to mid 90s!

I woke up early (for me, I'm rarely go to bed before 1 a.m.). I have an hour to spend before my first appointment- what a luxury!
This is the thread to read about fungal spores, huh? I rather like the smell of mildew, in moderation, of course. But some molds are definitely unwholesome.
Drake, if a hearing aid will help you, that will be great. I hope your drs appt goes well.

Good morning overs. One more day till a long weekend here, it's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada.
Oh I went and met some family I'd never met before the other night. My great uncle from home was visiting his and my grandpa's brother and his family who live nearby here, and who I had never met before. I went there for dinner and they are such nice, friendly welcoming people! It was lovely meeting them. My grandpa's older brother is so sweet and looks just like my grandpa, so strange!
They invited me for thanksgiving dinner but I am already going to a friends.....I almost feel like I should go, but, I told my friend I would be there so.
Have a good day everyone, I have a busy day ahead. Oh we are having an "indian summer" here. I know that's politically incorrect but I don't know what else to call it. It was hot yesterday.
