Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a smashing weekend!
Bought a bunch of crazy stuff yesterday and had a great time. Went to another Christmas parade after. Good stuff.
Off to gym and work as we start the ramp up to the holiday break baby!!

Nothing new here - had a great weekend with three nieces and their kids--we made and decorated cookies, got mani-pedis and drove around to see houses with great lighting displays.
Now I need a day or two to recouperate. It is a nice feeling to be genuinely tired - not just hungover - but tired from a lot of activity.
Let's keep on keeping on.

Good morning folks! Good point scooter, genuine tired is guilt free! So are genuine tired naps, no self loathing like a hangover nap!

Good morning gang!
Not the best news on the biopsy. On the bright side, caught it early. Scheduling appt to take care of it and trying to keep positive. Boy did that make me want a beer, but that certainly won't help anything!

Been away on business non-stop but now back in London
Determined - sending my thoughts. Everything will be fine fella - keep positive
I am all good. I was out until 1am last night with work in a Mexican Cantina just having fun, dancing and drinking Virgin Mojitos! How life changes. Last year I was resenting the Xmas parties this year I am having fun.
I have been chatting to some homeless people in recent days, just stopping to see if they want a coffee and stuff. Not giving money. I hate the thought of these guys being alone at this time of the year. We can't fix all the worlds problems but I think a kind word or two costs nothing.

glad to see everyone is doing well, round 2 with the holiday season should be a lot easier for all of us; I had a buddy crack a real beer while we made venison sausage Sat, and it was cool to see how fine I was with it, it is really nice to see how far we have come in nearly a yr and a half, happy holidays everyone, and keep strong, we all are rocking this thing!

Work is so busy, as I am away for christmas I am ring to squeeze 2 weeks work into 1 and it's so hectic!

It seems like we have all seen the difference in ourselves from last year - our first holiday season sober- and this year. It seems much calmer, and it is easier to ignore the drinks all around us. An added bonus for me, I write with mixed feelings, is that my brother in Dallas rarely contacts me. He sends an occasional text about the kids, the Patriots or RedSox - that is it. I know he still has problems, and I assume he is discussing them with other siblings and nephews. I feel I was not helping, and the 8-9-10 horrible daily phone calls were doing me in.
