(Not So) New - Frank's Thread Part 6
Thank you, Shabby! I've been chuckling ever since watching that vid -- so many fun memories.
Another good Normism:
"What are you up to, Norm?"
"My ideal weight, if I was eleven feet tall."
Harry's here.
I know. He'd be Harry Justaguy if it weren't for his birth. But let a middle-aged lady swoon just a tiny bit. Our lovely first lady and second lady seem rather charmed, too.

Okay, that's it. I declare Michelle Obama the most elegant, best dressed woman in the world.
O.m.g....Harry and Obama in the same room together! Too much!!! Sounds like a great cause he is supporting too - shades of his mother, eh? God, I am going to miss Obama when his term finishes. I think most of the world will.

....Won't happen, he'll get his dick stuck in his zipper at some point Shabby
Agree with Venecia, Michelle Obama knows how to wear clothes
I'm just about to head back to London from the wide end of Old Father Thames

Ha ha...haven't heard that expression :-) I dunno....he's already come out with some doozies and seems to have sailed on through them relatively untarnished. I hope you're right though. There must be a clunker coming that even diehards can't ignore.
How are things looking between Clinton and Sanders, Ven?

I don't want to be known as one of those "it's all about us" Americans. In that spirit, I'm proud to let you know that I know:
- John Key is NZ's PM
- He adores the captain of All Blacks
- He wants NZ to get a new flag
Whew. Now I know the leader of all here. Cameron, check. Trudeau, check.
Who will it be for us? Not sure. Shabby, you asked about Clinton and Sanders. She's starting to pull out pretty far ahead of him. I assume his star will fade -- I think it *may* be already, but this year is unlike anything I've ever seen. My preference would have been Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
The zipper thing? Yes, I think that'll happen. It may be already. But this has been such a weird year ... and not in a good way.
Bragging moment: I have a rather good track record in forecasting in politics. My gut hunch? The Republican nominee will be Florida Sen. Marco Rubio. We'll have to revisit that in about eight months to see if I'm still any good at it.
Sao, take note of #7.

I noticed they applauded pretty loudly about the English having attitude. I'm not sure what attitude they're referring to though...such a mixed bunch.
Yes, Ven, John Key has had three consecutive terms, unfortunately. He's a bit vacuous. John Oliver likes to take the mickey with gay abandon.
That's interesting about Clinton pulling ahead. I think she kind of 'deserves' it but a bit uninspiring somehow. Shame it was too soon for Joe Biden to run, although he might have been a bit loose. Marco Rubio you say, hey? I just looked him up. I suppose I better not comment. I do find it puzzling though when I see minorities gunning for the Republican Party.
