we continue to miss you Kris!
Today, we are covering the critically endangered Gentiana kurroo. This plant grows in subalpine and alpine meadows on open and exposed slopes of mountain ridges in Pakistan, India and Nepal. It has numerous medicinal uses and is collected from the wild for this particular purpose. Unregulated harvesting in addition to habitat loss due to road construction, agricultural invasion and urbanisation, has led to a 80% decline in the population over the past 10 years.
I always look forward to seeing each and every one of you here! I hope to see you all here again tomorrow!

Missed today, hosting some out of town friends who lost a family member. I forget sometimes how absent I used to be in general. I fed them, drove them around, hugged them, made sure they had warm, soft places to sleep. I feel bad missing my check in but am proud I was clean and present for my friends and their children.
