All good Jen I did pick a long username LOL I always go fall back on my tools from AA . Stay away from Persons. places & things & always plan ahead before you go into a situation where there will be alcohol around . If your sitting when it comes on Get up do something don't sit & listen . . Change mind set to threw that little suker of balance LOL

Awwww, did ya miss me, Nesty? I'm doing some Amazon shopping.

Jen, I'd investigate everything. As for me I just mostly rely on SR.

Yes Frank I thought you would whisper sweet nothings or something to me Or come up with a Lovely music tune
I just ordered a food scale measure the other day on amazon . Should be here any day . I find recipes that call for grams - it hard to siffer into cups & ounce's .

I'm here! I was just looking at AVRT, I read it before, but very quickly and with not much heart to be honest.
We have SMART recovery in my city and I might attend that, I don't think AA will work for me, I might attend meetings because I like to socialize, but I don't think I'll follow the program.

Not too much planned today, work on a recovery plan a bit, skype to Ireland, got to work for a few hours, clean out my car and do invoices.
I start school tomorrow, I'm looking forward to it!
What's everyone else up to?

Jen I guess you seem busy enough wow . I didn't mean attend AA just was mentioning a few things I had gotten out of it. Wasn't for me either ..
I do pretty much the same thing ever day - I go back & forth to 2 - 3 things . Unless I get out shopping . Clean house , surf web , watch TV , do some sewing , watch my critters at bird feeder . Or walk around outside . Sound exciting ? Keeps me busy - that's all that matters I guess . & chat on youtube . Rant on videos stuff like that ..

Oh I didn't think you were telling me to go nesty! I was just thinking out loud!
Your days sound so nice though!
My days are too busy, that's one of the leading contributors to my alcoholism, stress and being too busy.
Unfortunately that's not going to end, so I just need to learn to utilize other methods than alcohol to deal with it.
What do you like to watch on TV? And what do you like to surf on the web?

Evening everyone,

I am busy too at the moment but it means I have less time to thing about getting loaded

My car needs cleaning too - I am hoping to find an urchin or two to do it as I am creamed by the time I get home.

I hope you can get your BP sorted soon Nesty (hope you don't mind), it must be a worry

I read in another thread that you're going on a trip for work!
Have you ever been there before?

That's fine sao , just show's your concerned Thing that bugs me the most is before I lost weight it was high - so I worked on getting it down . Now it's the opposite Both can be bad for your heart .

Me too Jen I count the days for when I should get the packages . You should hopefully find a plan to help you fighting that AV .

I've been struggling these past few days with a Huge Decision . Which I'm afraid might send me over the edge on my Sobriety . First time I had a major problem to get through .... It's getting close to needing to put my best friend down . My dog *Baby* she's going to be 13 & isn't doing so good . I will find myself alone again

Yes Jen i'm off to Copenhagen and Stockholm (a day in each). I have been to both before as an Interailing tourist 32 years ago. Won't have time to see much this time unfortunately.

I have to keep the pennies coming in to pay for my classic Lancia habit which is doing its best to bankrupt me

I hope Mr Amazon brings you something nice Frank
