Sweetie, I'm not afraid of black guys. I guess I left the wrong message. What I do know that is most guys I know are (behind closed doors) are racists. Sad, but true. Wanna resolve racism? You can't change people. The resolution is to let every generation of racists die off and hope then next generation is more enlightened.
Nope. Can't agree with that. I know plenty of people who were influenced to be racist but have given that ideology the big finger. I do agree though that each generation seems to be improving in that respect.
Seriously? Most guys you know are racist?

Maybe some. Maybe not most, dunno. Maybe my best example would be my softball team, all white. We played another team with one (1) black guy on it. My guys, my teammates, taunted the black guy on the other team with racist comments. These were my teammates, thought they were good guys. I stood mute as they hurled racial epitaphs. I am so ashamed that I didn't take a stand.
Oh God, Frank. That is so awful :-( I don't know what to say. Don't blame yourself. It is so hard to go against the majority. Hasn't history told us that? We are not unique or special, only human, unfortunately. Lately I'm thinking we need to start loving our weaknesses.
I love all of you guys xxxxx

Don't you think we are all really hard on ourselves? That's what I notice a lot when I talk to people.
I've been meaning to ask you....when you go into a 'dark place', are there any particular thoughts that you have? Or is it more just a feeling? Or are those days gone?

I will be pulling into Stockholm Central Station soon. The train ride gave me time to read 6 pages of posts and play the youtube clips. Plenty of laughs on this thread
The train is uber comfortable
I slept for a while and dreamt that I was met at the station by Agnetha from ABBA. In real life I am being met buy a guy called Lars from civil engineering company. Hey Ho

Agnetha . . . lemme guess . . . she's the blonde? Figures. It's always The Blonde.

Yeah Frank it's the blonde one (but Anna-Frid is nice too)
I forgot to say, my favourite documentary is Man on Wire, it's about a French guy and his friends who crossed between the two towers of the World Trade Centre on a tightrope in the early 1970s (kind of fitting too, given the date)
