Courage and Gilmer reminded me, through their posts in another thread, of two great Shakespeare sonnets:
Sonnet *29:

When, in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possessed,
Desiring this man’s art and that man’s scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least;
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
(Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth) sings hymns at heaven’s gate;

I summon up remembrance of things past,
I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought,
And with old woes new wail my dear time’s waste.
Then can I drown an eye unused to flow,
For precious friends hid in death’s dateless night,

And moan th' expense of many a vanished sight.
Then can I grieve at grievances foregone,

for some reason I don't feel like coming here anymore, I been missing meetings.
for the past few months I been feeling very tired after work. irritable with myself, confuse. but I'm glad that my HP give me guidance and strength to keep sober and free of drugs.
please another 24 more.

Stay in tune with your thoughts and where they might lead you; so many people here have said that a relapse begins long before we take that first drink.
