Thanks Saoutchik. It's pretty good these days. Antidepressants were a huge help, and just getting older and wiser. I know what it's like to be in the thick of it though, bloody awful.

(Not So) New -- Frank's Thread Part 3.

Congrats!

Subtitle: Adventures in Lapidasland? Frankly, My Dears? Don't Talk to Me About Bacon? (See Part 2 -- or was it Part 1? -- youtube clip from "Lost.")

Book of Frank? I like the Book of Frank -- or Frank's book.

It reminds me of one of those epic moments in cinematic history, "Wayne's World: Part 2."

Kim Bassinger's character: "Garth, I'm going to be frank with you."
Garth: "OK. Can I still be Garth?"

That must be what a long day does to one. Or to me, anyway.

I'll be homebound for a good chunk of tomorrow, awaiting furniture pickup from the Salvation Army and the arrival of a new couch and sofa. Yay! Perhaps then I'll share more on dreams. Mine are sometimes an issue.

Take care all.

I'm pretty keen on 'Adventures in Lapidasland.' I like that coinage :-)

New couch and sofa.....woo hoo!! That's what we desperately need.

Part 3 , how bout that
I can sometimes start a dream off on the right course , direct the action or design the setting , but usually not for long, they tend to take on a direction of their "own" , but fun to try anyway, right?
I've commented on it before , the weirdest sensation when dreaming , to me, is when something in a dream is familiar to you, when it shouldn't be. I'll be in my house say going to a specific room to find something, only its not my house, but I " know" where to go, part of me is conscious of the idea that it shouldn't be possible and yet .. Weird in a fun way I guess.
Off to try an maybe engineer some fun . Free entertainment, can't beat it

NestWasEmpty - morning to you. I re read your previous posts and realised that you still have anxieties. I originally thought that you were referring to them in the past tense. My bad.

I absolutely hope that they subside for you as well. I would include anyone else who suffers from the same thing as well

I believe London is 5 hours later than northern Vermont (EST)

Congrats on the couch and sofa Venecia. I hope you get them soon Tooshabby

I wish I could understand my dreams but they're all nonsense to me

We used to have a fox terrier, Martin (also known as 'Boo'). When he was little, he ate two couches, sequentially. That is to say, he ate one, we replaced it, and then he ate that one too. I couldn't have loved him anymore than I did, despite those couches, several pairs of shoes, lingerie, etc, etc.....talk about a great gaping hole in our lives. He was as mad as a meat-axe. All dog, and then some ;-)

Jsbodhi Yes anxiety can Really S**k !! These whole 2 years being Sober , if it wasn't for my anxiety meds . I don't really think I would have made it . My Dr. wanted me to cut down a year ago , but of course something came up I couldn't deal with . So I didn't , now I'm gradually cutting back & I'm having trouble
What's bugging me isn't wanting to pick up , it's just little daily problems . Getting worked up over until I give up & take one ... I read posts here where others are trying to cut back .
Just another addiction in the end to get off of !!

Awww thanks that's Sweet of you saoutchic , but I'm still with all of you . 1 day at a time , work in progress .
For me the real challenge will come when & if I can get off the anxiety meds . I did bring that up to my Dr . she said "Some will always need it , cause it hadn't stemmed from Alcohol using or with drawl ".

Aw!! Nest! Yay for 2 years xoxoxo

Yeah my anxiety is from alcohol, if I'm nowhere near alcohol it goes away, but it takes up to a week or two to get back to my normal self now, I just cleaned my house, cooked breakfast so I'm feeling a little better.
We'll stick together. I just hate that I got myself into this alcohol mess, now gotta get myself out.
