Hi Eli, welcome to the overs! Feel free to jump-in anytime.

Zip, glad the foot is almost back to 100%!

Feeling a lot better today. Looking forward to being on the radio a week from tonight and then taking my Mom to her 60th(!) high school class reunion a week from tomorrow...should be a fun weekend.

Have a great Friday, overs!

Mags, great saying :-)

Zip, happy to hear your good news!

FBL, what's this about you being on the radio??? I missed something here.

Toots, I think Dee meant spammers rather than scammers although they are sometimes hard to tell apart . I saw one post the other day that was pure gibberish.

Have a great day to all.

Hiya overs

Zippy glad you're healing well!

Hi Eli

Toots, beginning to think summer is being taken out of our seasons altogether the last few years! Lol.

Had a funny day at work, got sixfootsix year old men sniping at me all day because I upset their apple cart yesterday, or I found them out, either way, good to know them for what they really are and not professional at all.

Going walking tomorrow if the weathers ok,just for a few hours, shake the cobwebs off.

Fame awaits you, Fbl .

Wolfie, how's the birds doing in your garden?

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hi overs, saw this and thought of you all.

A Quote by Stanley Horowitz on painting
in painting
Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.

Hi Wolfie, no, I've never used the black sunflower seeds, I didn't see black sunflower hearts,. With the seeds the birds break them to get the hearts so a lot get dropped and you may have sunflowers grow, but there is a lot of waste from the seeds, I think. With the hearts they eat it all.

I may be wrong but I think that's what my fil told me when I first bought sunflower hearts. I was given sunflower seeds by mistake a few months ago, I remember and I thought the birds wasn't eating them as the table and hangers were still full but it was the seed part they'd left. They'd ate the hearts and dumped the seed!

So if 10kg of black sunflower seed costs £15, you are getting 6kg of 'hearts' for £ 15. You can use this to compare prices between the black ...
