Itch, sorry you've been feeling a bit down lately. I've been feeling much the same lately. The frustrating thing is that I can't really put my finger on it, just that I don't feel 100% myself. Fall is my favorite season, so hopefully the weather will cooperate and I'll start to feel better soon. Glad I've got this group for support.

Dee, here's the only kind of spam I like:

FBL, i have SAD and even though I love fall, my moods tend to swing more in spring and fall. So now I just accept it, knowing it will get better and usually bury myself in a good book :-)

Evening overs

What is it you like about fall or for us over the pond, autumn, Fbl and Sassy?

Mines spring, when it starts getting light in the mornings again, around 4 am, I love it.

I've had an horrible day at work. It's dog eat dog at the moment and I've had 2 altercations! Pleased to be home. Btw, I'm not dog eat dog but felt the after effects.

Sounds nice Wolfie, mans best friend, his dog!

Hope you had a good day golfing, IWL.

gonna have some ice cream, I'm giving into my inner child after a bad day, oh no, I sound like an alcoholic!

Mags, I love the cooler weather and the fall colors in this part of the country are just beautiful. Plus, it's the start of the new TV season

Dr who on Saturday ! Love it. A new film out at cinema, the Martian , will watch it on TV though. The leaves are pretty amazing in their colours Fbl. I don't like it too hot but do like to see the sun put its head out.

Have you got any new programmes starting Fbl.

Morning overs , weird, weird dreams!

As usual, I'm pleased it's Friday! Gotta get out of this mindset, though.

I read good reads saying yesterday, quite liked it, Not read this one before.
Don't wait for a light to appear at the end of the tunnel, stride down there and light the bloody thing yourself.
Sara Henderson

I used to be a dog walker and, yes, Sassy and Fbl , the colours were magnificent in the woods, many many colours in the fall. I did like the crispness of the fallen leaves under foot, too.

Have a good Friday friends, speak later, gonna have another cuppa.

While it appears I am working harder than normal I'm actually doing less than ever. Goodnight Wolf!

Mags,
It was 94 degrees F here today (34.4C) but dry for here. Humid by any remotely human standards. Last weekend through Tuesday was in the low 80s. But here it is again. Hot and humid.

We got the gas on Yay! But the part to the backup generator is leaking badly, Boo! But they are coming at 8 am to redo it - Yay!

Sassy,
Yeah I know, just venting. Thanks. I hate flying since 9/11. I remember when we felt like VIPs to fly coach!

Dee,
Thanks.

Yes I will look for scab advertisers and report them to you if encountered.

Carlos,
Hey bud! Enjoy the golf for me.

RZ,
Foot, how goes the foot?

FBL,
I think it is the change of season. I get antsy and introspective in spring and fall. Always have.

Well it is 12:30 and I have gas scheduled for the morning. My kiddo called from Denver having just returned from being part of a medical volunteer team with our DIL in Honduras doing care and surgeries the poor there would never have seen otherwise. Glad they made it back OK.
Nite.

Sorry to admit my ignorance, ( especially when I am know to my hubby as the oracle) but in what way are these scammers scammers? How will I know what to look for if I don't know what to suspect?
Can someone please enlighten me forthwith... My oracle status is at risk with any unknown quantity!!

Mags, I hate Dog eat Dog situations as I am not naturally a confrontational person, I hope your ice cream soothed you in every way.
Last year I spent some of the Fall around the New England countryside and it truly is beautiful. I remember going across to Fort William on the West coast of Scotland during a particularly colourful Autumn and being awed by natures beauty. It truly is a season of splendour, but for me it it too much the harbinger of cold dark days that seem endless, it is difficult to separate that and enjoy the season for the bounty it gives. I would love summer I have been told it is a lovely season. Living in Scotland, I wouldn't know from person experience!

Hugs my fellow Overs x

You don't need to know if they're scammers Toots

If anything looks a little off report it, and I or some one else will check it out.

If you don't think it looks off, then there's no reason for you to report it lol

I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I'm coming up on 3 years and I used to visit this site a LOT in the early days. It was such a great support. I feel like I've gotten a bit complacent with my sobriety and thought I'd get back on the site and connect with some other alkies :-) Hope you're all well!
