David cassidy has just done a live interview about his bankruptcy and he looked completely out of it

It was on the itv show this morning I thought why wouldn't they pull the interview that show should be ashamed its not right putting ppl under the influence on tv

I don't even know David cassidy but I knew the presenters could tell he was drunk (Eamon Holmes & Ruth Langford)

They should of pulled it anyways I'm off to do more exercises I'm now going for a long walk

Cool (60F) and cloudy here today...fall is in the air!

I haven't done a "Friday" song for awhile...so here's an oldie but a real goodie...have a great Friday, overs!

When my neice was staying she asked for a DJ lesson to which I gratefully obliged and I noticed how much I was sweating I thought this is like a workout it got me thinking lol

So after a 4 mile walk today I done a 45 min set and I started sweating again as if I was working out so double workout !! it was also good to get some dust off my vinyl & decks : )

Then the therapy job team got bk to me and I'm seeing them this monday to have a induction with them and discuss all the recent options I've been thinking about and to talk more in depth about what they can offer me and my expectations

My Friday could not have went much better I'm loosing weight I can actually see I am I havnt weighed myself in years so going to buy scales

Were having turkey breast for dinner with grilled halloumi, toasted pitta breads (because we can't get flatbreads), caramelised houmous & a side salad of baby spinach, Lettace, fresh sweetcorn off the cob, radishes, peppers & cherry tomatoes

With a splash of extra virgin olive oil we got as a gift from madeira

Overs you are like family to me

SW, are you a DJ? More details please!
You just reminded me about halloumi! I ate so much of that last year, first in Turkey and then in Berlin where turkish sandwich shops are on every single block practically. I miss that! I'll have to see if I can find it here somewhere....ha! Yeah right. Halloumi sandwich........mmmmmmm.
My big date is tonight! Well we're not cooking, it's a beautiful day so we're going to bbq burgers in his backyard and then go for a walk! Sounds nice.
Maybe beef burgers----haha Itchy I didn't get that reference. You so funny.

Brilliant song, Fbl.

Nice work if you can get it, Wolfie! DJ.

I heard they're making citizen smith again on TV. Hope it's as good as the original.

Hope bbq is good, Inpar.

I looked on Internet, Wolfie when I saw what you wrote about david Cassidy, unfortunately these morning programmes thrive on gossip , but I thought Eammon was better than that. David Cassidy said he was an alcoholic in 2014.

I started off on pirate radio and then onto clubs, bars & pubs its not something il be doing career wise I could but the environment just isn't my thing anymore

I started DJing in my early teens it would have been earlier if it was up to my sister shealways wanted me to learn DJ'ing and she got me my 1st mixer & 1 belt drive deck & I studied & experimented constantly

I can mix anything if it can go I love bringing genres together when possible

For instance bubba sparxx's 'Ugly' vs Chopper (a drum and bass legendary classic)

One is hip hop the other is drum & bass

I can't sleep so turned TV on and 'Meet Joe Black' is on, not bad a film. Anthony Hopkins and Brad Pitt.

My nan nan used to say 'plenty of time to sleep when we're dead' which I say flippantly sometimes.

Morning overs.

It's been chucking it down, here! Just watching a squirrel on the bird table, keeping dry and gathering nuts, he will then, dot them about the garden under the grass and forget where he put them! If worse, birdies see him and take them when he goes.
Usually the magpie! Last time I saw it I wish I'd had my phone to video as Mr squirrel kept chasing the magpie off,Mel he was being cheeky, he had hardly left the place he buried the nuts and magpie was taking them!

I've got my shopping delivery coming between 9-10 , so watching out at the bird table with a cuppa!

Have a good weekend.

One time I did not have a camera or a phone with one (this was several years ago) I came across some sunflowers that were covered by gold finches. There were probably 10-15 of them, the air literally sparkled.

Due to the US holiday last Monday, I was a day off and thought yesterday was Thursday... until about 10PM last night. Had to check several sources to be sure what today was.

No, I had not been drinking!

Dee - Didn't know you were struggling as I don't usually venture beyond my regular few threads. I hope all is ok.

InPar - Hope your date went well. Details!

Mags - I hate when I can't sleep.

Drake - Temps are on their way down here too.

I passed the exam I'd been studying for work all summer! I'm glad to have one more test to put behind me. Yesterday I was offered an opportunity for an internship that I interviewed for months ago.

Before I had kids, when I was in the corporate world, I felt frustrated by my lack of career growth and development. So yesterday when a young coworker who is frustrated in her career development sniffed that I was getting everything I dreamed of, I took pause to feel gratitude to recovery for introducing me to principles for living well that I have been able to use in all aspects of my life, including work.

Now it's the weekend and it's time to get busy with cooking, cleaning, and carting the kids around. Arthritis foot pain has reemerged this week with a vengeance and Im trying to accept it. I'm going to do my best to work on some organization projects. First stop - the garage, aka the dumping ground!!

Be well this weekend Overs!
