I love vacations, but it is always hard leaving our cat babies. We have a friend who lives on our street (who loves cats and has 3 of her own) take care of Sara & Lucky .

My kids went to a small Catholic school with a carpool line instead of buses. Twenty-five cars along the curb , with a bunch of kids all getting out at the same time.
In the mornings we would get ready for school. The second I would reach for the doorknob of the closet, the dog would leap in the air and twirl in anticipation of going in the car. She sat politely until we got to school: then she went into a barking frenzy, wagging her tail like crazy. She even lunged her head at them (but we kept the windows up).
Then as soon as we left the parking lot, she was placid again!

Started over again yesterday, so day 2 today. Still feel plagued by sinus congestion, which is extremely frustrating. At least the alcohol I drank end of last week seems to have chased the fever from my body.

Starting day 16 here. Give me another 24 hours please!! I've survived 2 weekends, and not even all that hard...once I truly decided this and was "all in"!
