Thanks for the congratulations, everyone! I was thinking last week that it was coming up on the 16th again--but today it totally slipped my mind! I woke up late and it took a lot of coffee to revive me!

Welcome to SR and to the 24 Hour thread! There is a ton of great wisdom and support to be found on these forums. Hope you'll become a regular participant!

Remember you don't have to take that first drink today no matter what, and as long as you don't take the first one you don't have to worry about the second or third or eighth one that would usually follow.

I am about to travel to Asia for 10 days so I hope to stay in contact. Cant tell if SR is available in China My heart and wishes remain here in any case

Today we are covering a rodent that is close to some of you, the Carpentarian Rock rat. This rodent is found in Queensland, Australia. Interestingly, it can store fat in the base of its tail. Unfortunately, this little critter is classified as being critically endangered.
