24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 73
Good morning! Heartfelt congrats to today's celebrants!!
I think I'm finally truly accepting of my alcoholism and, more importantly my sobriety. I'm more at peace with myself and, the world than I have been in a very long time. By stating this I'm not going to become complacent in my recovery or, think I'm recovered. I'm going to guard my sobriety and, continue on in my recovery.
With that said let's all carry on with another day of sobriety.

'Acceptance' - that magic moment . . .
Good morning! It's 6:36am in Utah. I slept better last night, still battling a cold that's been lingering for quite some time. Planning on a nice slow long run (endurance athletes call these workouts "LSD" which is fun to say to unknowing people) in a bit.
Day 3 today and I'm committed to 24 more hours booze free! Will be no challenge as the liquor stores are closed in Utah on Sundays! Hooray for religious laws to bolster this sobriety thing!

Welcome Betterthanever! You will find lots of support here. I think that your idea of checking in again - as often as you need to - is good and will help get you through the times you are tempted to give in to cravings.
