Croissant, thanks so much for the post on respecting oneself. I'm delighted you remembered that purple is my favourite colour! That is sweet of you.
I haven't been sleeping well, so got up this am around 3am when I woke,
and drove to a country road to take in the Perseid meteor shower. It was spectacular!

Hi everyone,
Took me awhile to catch up which is a great thing
Love when this thread is busy.
Doing well on Day 5. The weather has been beautiful here the last 2 days so we have gotten out to enjoy. Went miniature golfing yesterday and to a park today. Life is good. I hope I don't mess it up this weekend like I have been doing. Will be sticking close to here.

Leshar I'm glad you got up and did something constructive when you couldn't sleep :-) sounds lovely.
Thanks for your support everyone , day 2 here & feeling hopeful. Holly has the day off,. I'm about to get up , have my shower , wash my hair , put on some makeup
We are going into the city to get a dressup costume for her work. They do random dressup days.
I'm feeling hopeful and in a much better frame of mind today.
You're the best bunch of people ever .

That pic reminds me of when my neice went to her school prom really happy for you Snooz congrats on all your hard work your amazing you know that 
In my day im 33 lol we didnt have prom we had school disco girls on one side boys on the other oh the memories lol

Oh yum Crois , I just ate a strawberry yeast swirl with Walnuts on top. It was a mega hard decision between that & their award winning vanilla slice . I must admit the pink icing looks more inviting than the white

Lol, I think the thick, pink icing was what I was craving the most! Oh....and then the custard!
Dress is gorgeous! Funny, I literally just found an old pic of my first school disco tonight....with my little flick back miniature version of a Farrah Fawcett haircut. School dances are THE most exciting thing, and funny Snooz, I'm not joking, I was actually thinking back to that actual day and remembered it was early in my Mums drinking and we had a great time shopping for my dress. Sadly, I realised tonight, looking at the photo of me, I remember it now as probably one of the last times together actually doing fun shopping with my Mother.
I'm glad you girls had a nice day together....and may there be many more happy ones like that.xx
