HI everyone
To celebrate my 1st year of sobriety , I travelled to Sydney to participate in the City to Surf.. last year (2nd Year) I travelled down to watch my darling daughter participate (torture herself for her first time) ... this year... my memory failed me and in a moment of insanity I registered us both. So tomorrow I board a bus with a group of people (and my daughter) sleep in a hall on an air bed ... wake up Sunday morning before the sun rises ... catch a bus into the city .... shuffle 14km with 80,000 other people (and nope very little training for this) ... make my way back to the hall.... refuel...board the bus and head back home (5 hour trip) .... I REALLY need to find a less energetic way to celebrate my sober anniversary
.... BTW my hockey team is coming 2nd on the ladder WOOT!!

Wolfie & Drake, sorry you guys are feeling down. I went thru a little blue period myself last week...mine passed pretty quickly, sure yours will too.

Hi Overs, LO has had a very needy morning today! So just a quick hello. We are just now outside enjoying some fresh air. I have a decent sized summer squash growing and some tomatoes popping up.

First welcome to all newbies and congrats on making it one year. Before you are fully vested in good standing here, you must learn the secret Overs greeting, which identifies you as one of us, and is only given to other Overs. Here is a video of me, Rusty Zipper, and FBL, demonstrating the secret greeting moves.

Having raised two boys, one of which we had to tough love the whole way I have some truth for you to take if you want. There is only one significant difference between good parents and child abusers - restraint! We all want to kill them and wring their little necks sometimes. Good parents don't act on those urges.

102° today, 103 tomorrow, 105 Sunday, and 106-110° Monday. Actual temps. Heat indexes much higher. Our little RV AC is only able to keep it in the 80's running non stop all day. Got the waste dump pump installed it works. Dirt pad and concrete finished today. Bushed, g'night!

Itchy I get fed up of having no summer, but I wouldn't trade you those temps.
Going through a bout of insomnia about 6 hours sleep in the last 48 hours. May fall asleep at the football!! Nah, that's not gonna happen!
Wolfie if you ever think of trading Mrs W in for an older, heavier, more annoying model....... Alternatively, just come to Scotland and give me a massage!! Lol asked hubby for one once, he half heartedly poked my shoulders for about 2 minutes then said 'there ya go'!!

Toots sleep deprivation is the worst!! I hope you can catch up soon.
I unexpectedly went to a new meeting with the woman who was on vaca. Had a good talk and we're going to start working on the steps. I'm excited to finally have the plan in place now.

Its hot in london today itch so being in that louisana heat your in id proberly be sweating gallons itch what are the summer night temps i have a pic in my head of seeing the stars of a nice summer night in louisana have a great day itch and i wish you every sucess for all your hard work
Toots i massage mrs sw as it helps her back & neck i do her feet and i normally kiss them goodnight, You should pretend you hurt your shoulder ham it up a bit and i guarentee you youl see mr toots come to your rescue i feel bad saying this but it will work lol
Hello to all the overs me and mrs sw have had a great day after i read chapter 4 last night i done around 4 short meditations and i feel quite diffrent today more energy less anxiety about things feeling good esp about the good sleep routine loving that
I just had a whole really ripe pineapple mrs sw cant eat pineapple so it was all me it went in minutes lol really ripe pineapples are beautiful esp in this heat
