You saw it before I yanked it! Those contractors can be your pincushion!

Itchy, I hear you! Dealing with contractors rarely seems to be enjoyable. Years ago I had a co-worker that had one of those very small statuettes with an ugly person and the following inscription at the bottom: "bitchalittle, it helps!" I find, in moderation, that's so true

Morning 4.02 here on Wednesday.

Oh itchy, we have contractors, builders the same in England! If we're lucky we know someone with the skills to carry out our work, few and far between! Grrr.
I'm pleased you didn't let em loose with your Tonka Toy, it could've been worse!
Oh, Dee, who had the joke in the cereal pack, lol.
Inpar, go Girl!
All this fun, I need to calm down and take some puffs of my sabutamol. Lol
See you later.

Dee!
Just like herding cats!

Mags,
You guys across the pond too?

Gil,
I tawt I saw a puddy tat!

Sas,
I am retired military and have never been accused of not being salty. However I am very cordial when I tell them that they are cordially invited to the theological place of eternal punishment.

Or accuse them of rectalcephalism and offer to get a tractor and perform a free rectalcephalectomy.

Lol, I get a bit mischievous sometimes, ie. Cheeky! Got plenty of cracks off my mum for them, years ago, or you may call them, back handers? Lol.

You're description describes cheeky perfectly, itchy! Lol.

Got a call from my brother last night. He and Mom have been butting heads recently. She made a huge list of stuff she wants (mostly photos) in her already crowded room at the home. She insists that there's room and my brother says there isn't. He's also stressed about getting her to church every Sunday. It's hard for me to hear this being so far away (350 miles one-way) and there's really nothing I can do, other than talk to her on the phone about it. I told him that maybe he should cut back a bit on his visits and that he doesn't have to take her to church EVERY week. I sometimes wonder if I should just quit my job and move closer, but that's not going to happen. Maybe he just needed to vent, but now I'm stressing a bit and any advice would be appreciated.

A big cold front is supposed to move through our area later today and I'm really looking forward to some lower humidity for a change.

Have a great hump-day, overs!

I think you gave him very wise counsel, FBL.

Maybe another member can give her a ride to church on Sundays.

I say if she wants the pictures, let her have the pictures. It's her place: if she wants to crowd it, it's her business. As long as it's not a safety hazard.
