Hello folks,
Just popping my head round from the Class of July. It has been a huge help to me in getting me to 17 days sober, the support has been great. I am sure it will be beneficial to you guys also.
You can do this!

Hi,
I would like to join. Today is day 6 for me. I seriously started trying to quit on May 30. Slipped a few times. I would like to get to 30... Ok, 45, ok, a lot longer, but right now I'm shooting for 30. I just have to take one day at a time.

I have a sober app on my phone. I reset it for today. It said, "Everyone falls off their horse from time to time, but only the strong get back on." I see some very strong folks around here who don't fall, but I'm going to go with it and try to convince myself I'm strong enough to do this. Hello August 1. Hello Class of August 2015.
Hi, August of '15.
I'm from the Class of August of '13 and wanted to pop in to offer my encouragement. In our class, we're excited about celebrating our accomplishments together. I get happy tingles just thinking about the fact that my two-year anniversary is drawing near.
You can do this. By joining SR, you have begun the journey. Congratulations on choosing sobriety!

Hello everyone. I have been here before and I am determined this time to succeed. It's my day 1 and I feel good and calm. I have been lurking since I last posted (long time ago) and this is the last site I read every single night. Let's do this. Day 1.
Just a quick hello from the class of July 2015. Welcome aboard the recovery train! Being involved in a class and posting has really been beneficial to my recovery. I look forward to getting to know ya'll. Have a great weekend!
On the plus side, I only drank three beers. And I do have a plan that should help me accept that drinking is no longer the desirable choice and that permanent sobriety is actually a more pleasurable and satisfying way to live.
