Well, middle of the night and what am I doing? Funny you should ask. I'm on a binge. Noooo . . . not that kinda binge. A teevee binge. Watching HBO's'The Newsroom' on Amazon. Pretty darn good. But, of course, anything written by Aaron Sorkin is pretty darn good. Hope all are well and happy!
Hi, Frank.
How's it going?
Don't worry. We won't let the thread die. CPR shall be administered, if need be.
"The Newsroom" sounds interesting. My most recent binge was "Treme." I'm in love with New Orleans.

Here's a look at "Treme." (Language warning delivered.)
How are you doing today (tonight), Frank? It looks like you're a night owl. What do you do during the rest of the time? Have you found some ways to help support your sobriety?

Catchin' up a bit . . .
Mystified, sleep is still an issue. Seems like the largest block of snooze time I get is 2-3 hours. But Boozer assures me that this too shall pass. Wow, how cool would a 6-8 hour block of sleep be?
Venecia, thanks for the 'Treme' recommendation! Looks good! And I'm giving thought to your question, will answer tomorrow.
Yes, Gina, I think Cow is amazing. Still catching up on some of her earlier threads.
Saoutchik, I'm sure you've been asked this before, but what does your username mean?
Cissy, I picked that Lapidas pic because he looked pretty beat up, which was how I felt when I joined SR. I've always thought than when I reach some sort of meaningful milestone (I have no idea what that milestone might be) that I'd switch to a different Lapidas pic, one where he looks better.
And thanks, Olivia, for keeping up with the thread.

Good evening, hope you are feeling well Frank
Like other people on the thread it took me a couple of months to sleep properly. I slept very poorly at first and then it would be one night good next night bad but eventually I started doing a bit of jogging, not much say 20 minutes a day. It really seemed to help as my job is mostly sedentary so I really needed the exercise
My avatar name comes from Jacques Saoutchik - originally from what is now the Ukraine but emigrated to France pre WW1 and became one of the most famous coachbuilders of the interwar period and again for a short time after WW2
I was a panel beater (auto body shop I think you call it in the US) for a couple of years after I left school, i've always been interested in coachbuilt cars. I can't afford any of M'sieur S's vehicles but I am restoring an old Lancia
