Class of August 2013 - Part 15
This morning I made several pies. I loaded them up in the truck and took them over to my brother's house to bake. Turned out good! I am feeling very well. It's so beautiful out and all the kids are coming....gosh, I can hardly believe I'm the same person.
Same to you, Adv! I've been thinking of you as the snow has been falling. All the ski resorts are loving it! And it's beautiful as only Central Oregon can be.
And to all of you! Please have a lovely precious time with your loved ones this holiday. I hope you all know peace. You all deserve the very best there in life. I do love you all so much. You've supported me through a very difficult time in my life. I'll never forget that. God bless you.

Merry Christmas, my dear classmates and dear Dee. Our third together.
I so enjoyed the holiday check-ins and hellos. I just returned from an overnight at my brother's home. Like Else, I got the baking bug and made tons of yummy sacher tortes (chocolate cookies, with cherry jam) and two short cakes (orange-almond and lavender). Dangerously delish.
We're closing in on year's end. We'll have spent all or parts of 2013, 2014 and 2015 together and I look forward to our continued bonds in 2016. It would also be great to see old friends.
May your days be merry and bright, classmates.

The holidays are so much better in sobriety. I agree wholeheartedly, Oceanlady.
It's peaceful here, too.
That may change if I venture to the nearest mall. Workout first. I've slacked off on that and my new year's resolution is three workouts a week, minimum, come hell or high water.

Glad everyone had a good holiday. Also wishing the very best to those who only occasionally stop in.. it's good to see you when you do! Kadi, thinking of you, and also those we rarely see, like Sean, FG, and w2r..
I've been eating like a pig this holiday season. Put on a few pounds, and actually felt sick a couple of times after over indulgence in sweets. I really have to do something about this sweet tooth of mine this coming year or I'm going to end up a diabetic. I'm convinced that sugar was a large component of my addiction to alcohol.
Best to all.

Happy new year gang and many more! Sitting here thinking of my New Years resolution. Continue to cut carbs and maintained weight, read my daily devotion, give thanks for pease of mind and wellbeing ...I remember the ones of " only two glasses of wine a day", Jan 2 went out and bought fish bowls!
