Starting day 74 here. It was a crazy busy weekend at work. I made great money but I'm pooped today. I'm 40 years old and still waiting tables because of my poor life decisions over the last 16 years and it's starting to get to me physically at times. My right arm, the one I carry trays with, hurts about half the time now, like I pulled something in my upper outer arm or shoulder. It's not an unbearable pain but it's constantly there in the background. I should go to the doctor but what am I going to do if they tell me to cut out the work for a while or for good? I have to work and don't know how to do anything else for a living. Ugh. I had these arm problems for a while last summer as well and they eventually went away. Hopefully they'll do so again.
Plan for today is a noon AA meeting and work at 5:30 this evening. Nothing else on the books.

Casey hope your arm starts feeling a little better.
I had a nice relaxing day yesterday listening to music most of the day and bought a few new records.
Someone is coming out to hopefully repair my water heater today.

Wake up undies! It's too quiet in here. How's everyone doing?
Starting day 75 here. Yesterday was good if uneventful. Work was slower than it had been this weekend but still a little bit busy. Kitchen had a few issues last night, but that's out of my control. My arm was hurting a little when I went to bed last night but is feeling OK this morning so far.
I don't have a car and when I got on my bike to go home last night I heard a loud rip. Yep, the seat of my pants blew out. Glad it decided to wait until after work to do that. It made the short ride home a little cooler. So I've going to go buy a couple of new pairs of work pants this morning. Think I'm going to wait an hour or two and eat some Chinese food for lunch. I'm craving MSG, I think. I work again this evening. No other plans for the day.
Hope everyone is having a happy and sober (the two go hand in hand for me) start to their day and that you check in soon!

Hi undies.
Just checking in before womp. Had to womp yesterday so rescheduled the repair man for today and will run home when he calls.
Only slept about 4 hours due to a friend needing someone to talk to and staying over till almost 4am. Extra coffee for this girl today!

Casey I can relate to the arm thing, only mine is from computer work. Probably computer work and dragging my bags around the world. It's normally my left shoulder that acts up and boy can it be uncomfortable. That's usually when I go get one of those Thai massages that I love so much if I'm home, or if I'm traveling any massage helps a bit. I use tiger balm as well before I go to sleep to help relax the muscles in there...
Hang in there, amp! Family is tough, but it's such sweet relief when it's over! haha. I love my family but I find anything longer than 10 days is just TOO much with them.

Welcome, Toadie! It's good to see you here on the Undies :-). Anyone is welcome. Sometimes it gets quite lively here, other times it is fairly quiet. We do have a number of over one year sober folks who like us so much that they just keep on popping in (hence we call them our Popovers).
Monthly threads don't always last too long although the March 2013 group (my second and real home) is still going like the Energizer bunny.

Welcome toadie! Glad to have you here. It's a good place to check in and let everyone know how it's going. Definitely good for when the monthly class threads slow down or if you just want some extra accountability. It's a great to group on here!
