Hello everyone,
I'm not doing so well since I got home. My memory is shot for lots of things due to ECT. I feel very sad and lonely. I was good in hospital, but that was because there was a community of people there and a routine of sorts. I took my attention off the road for a second today and crashed my car badly. Bumps and bruises, but no-one else was hurt and the trailer I hit sustained no damage. I don't know what is wrong with me, I feel like heavy doom weighing over me. I feel very sad and anxious. I wish I didn't live alone. I don't know why this heavy doom is upon me, it's frightening.

I'm sorry you crashed the car Leshar, but very glad you're ok.

Personally I think a treatment regimen of ECT and a prolonged hospital stay is a big deal - it's natural normal life should feel a little unfamiliar, even a little scary I think?

Maybe it's wise to not try and push yourself too hard too soon ?

I hope things feel a little more comfortable soon - remember we're always here

Glad you weren't badly hurt in the car crash, Leshar. Everyone else is right--give yourself some time to adjust to being back home. Hang close to us when you get a chance. There's usually someone here 24/7.

Thanks so much everyone for all your kindness, it means so much to me.
I feel really awful. SWa, my bird is a cockatiel. His name is Tiki. I couldn't collect him yesterday, because I couldn't remember where the vets was. I called a girlfriend last night and she told me, but the vets had closed by that time.
I feel awful, I don't know what's wrong with me.

(((Leshar))) I, too, am just you weren't hurt in the crash. Dee is right, you just had a major medical procedure done - please try and give it a little time and just be easy on yourself. Did the Drs give you any indication of what you should expect, how long it could take to adjust etc?? Keep posting - we are all here and praying for you.

AV tried giving me a hard time yesterday around 4:30-5, but we went out to dinner and then I was fine. I think I need to change up my routine around happy hour time, especially on the weekends. I did most of my drinking (towards the end) at home, in hiding, so getting out of the house is key I think.

Going go be a steamy day here so won't be getting outside much. Maybe a good day to make some cookies

A little quiet here today, hope everyone is enjoying their weekends. Today was kind of boring - too hot to go outside and nothing really planned. AV started up around 4:30, again, but I went back and read my journal from the last 9 days and it helped . Just had Chinese takeout and feeling much better

Giant going away picnic for friends in our community group. I usually shudder at these things, but things actually turned out pretty well.

Bedtime soon, though! It's been another long day.

Tired tonight. Worked half a day then stacked firewood for a few hours.
Getting too old for this stuff.

Oh Leshar, I'm sure you'll be ok after a while. So thankful you or nobody else got hurt in the fender bender.

It was one of those hot humid by cloudy days here.
Very hard to work outside.

I'm going to lay in bed, but I'll check my tablet if somebody else visits here.
Probably go out and give some love to anybody struggling on the forums.
That's if I can stay awake.

Day 10 for me , really struggled with the AV today , but did the same as yesterday. Straight home from work pjs pain killers for my back , picked Holly up from work & movies tonight , allllll night.
