You're so funny, C2. My favorite: cherry Tootsie Pop. I don't buy candy very often, but I will go through every bag at the store and buy the one with the most red ones and the least brown ones.

Simple pleasures are everywhere. I lead a pretty quiet life these days, and it is so much more serene than the crazy, out-of-control life of my twenties when I was heavily into drinking.
The way out starts today, with one day of sober time. Going to bed early, sober, on clean crisp sheets that smell good. That was my goal and still is my goal every day. I really love white sheets. I have mostly print ones, but the white ones are my favorites. The sheets on the clothesline remind me of my beloved grandmother. Mmm the smell.
