The weekend comes and goes so quickly doesn't it?
I had such a relaxing day yesterday, didn't get out of bed until 9am, read the Sunday papers, pottered around the garden, sat in the sunshine, and generally replenished my spirit.
So I have no excuse for not having a productive day today.
Only 4 weeks to go until my holiday, and there's lots to sort out at work before then. I find the run up to a holiday quite stressful, so I intend to clear the decks as early as possible, to allow for the last minute crisis which always seems to happen on the Friday before a break.
Anyway, hope everyone's doing well.

Great work Obo. Hope your return to work goes well. I'll be watching the last episode of the Chinese teaching experiment tonight. I'm interested to find out how they get on in the English school.

UP, hope you're sleeping soundly and wake up refreshed to a better day.

I've started developing a personal "rule of life", inspired by the monastic communities. I've included "sobriety, simplicity and gratitude" as my over riding principles. It feels good to get it down on paper, for some reason. It seems to tighten up my resolve to keep on moving forward towards a more conscious lifestyle.

I have my performance review today (supervision), I should find out a bit more about the companies restructuring plans. I'm not sure if the impending changes will involve me or not.

Thanks UP. I think it went OK, there's some changes in the higher levels of the organisation, I don't think it will effect me too much, but I'm feeling sorry for those people at the top.

I have family staying over this weekend, they like their wine, but they know I don't drink so I'm not expecting any pressure. It's the internal, sneaky voice I'm more worried about. I don't want to give it any room to lay down any seeds of destruction. I just need to stay vigilant. I'm sure it will be fine.

2 weeks.

No one can upset you like family.

The fight with my brother cost me 15 months...

Changing my focus to anger.

I had dropped the ball in my recovery first. Wasn't vigilant enough. After a year of being sober I started to think I was ok.

2 weeks ago i had 2 glasses of champagne, then went to the shop for a beer on the side and vomited to it all up....

I know now it's right behind you...

I dont wanna go back to being a drunk....

Im not going back!

It's all in my head.
