(((Marcher)))! It never rains but it pours, as they say. I'm so sorry to hear Mr Marcher had another heart attack. Good that it was mild and that it happened when he was in the hospital already. My prayers are coming your way!

Good Lord, Marcher. Watch out for incident #3. They always come in threes!

Glad you're both ok. Why not stay in the hospital for a while? Or a nice safe, protective custody cell? You don't need any other problems.

Hi everyone. Better news today, Mr Marcher was allowed to come home this morning, the arythmia (sp?) has settled, medication increased with a view to an op to put in a something or other later on. Not pacemaker, something else?

The assessor rang half an hour ago, the car is written off so that's that, insurance will come through shortly.

I slept like a log last night and I'm coping.

Take care.

Wow marcher! Glad mr. Marcher is home and recovering. Sorry about the car, now you get to go out and pick another one.?

Guys, thanks for the support! Canoe day was crazy, muddy, buggy, filthy, hot, exhausting, but if I don't get slammed for all of that on my evaluations it will be worth it.

Good morning, Marchers!

Marcher, happy to hear Mr Marcher is home. That might be a cardioverter defibrillator (not sure I have that right). If he has Afib, they put it in via an outpatient procedure and if an arrythmia occurs, it detects it and shocks the heart back into rhythm. That prevents the heart from stopping - a good thing. The docs have that on the agenda for me if it becomes necessary. You must be exhausted! Prayers and (((hugs))) coming your way.

We, it sounds like your canoe day was a success :-). Those kids are fortunate indeed to have you guiding them.

Toots, happy hump day to you, too :-)

Another whip around the door to wave and say we are coming out of the mud of bad luck. I found a car online today (private sale) that I looked at this evening, it's two years younger than the previous one, 30,000 kms less on the odometer. I'm in the process of buying it.

Oh, Marcher! What a whirlwind!

I'm glad Mr. Marcher is OK and home now. I'm sure you have been a rock for him!

I'm also glad the assessors declared your old car to be totalled. It's always better to get a car that's never been in an accident than to get one that's been cobbled together again after a big wreck.

I'm fine, Toots and Sass! Things are busy but calm now. Midterm Saturday! Must drop everything and cram!

Happy Hump Dat to you too, Toots!

No news at all -- today is the first day I'm feeling that there is no hope. This community is going to be beyond devastated if that turns out to be the case. My friend's and I went running along the beach yesterday to help with the search but of course found/saw nothing. Everyone's hearts are just breaking.

Marcher, great news about the car!!

And We - I did think about your canoe trip yesterday and am so glad it turned out well. Lucky kids to have that experience!

Hubby is in the Keys for mini lobster season (Largo Budd - not down your way) so I decided that it would be a great idea to have some girlfriends over. It's turned into a fun little pot luck but darned if that AV doesn't still rear his ugly head! I just have to get through that hour or two before they arrive then I'll be fine -- that's my weak time -- setting up before company arrives - what was I thinking??

Hi Marchers!
Just dropping in for a minute to let you all know the BIGGG news: our little angel finally began to walk this week... she just turned 16 months old yesterday, so she walked at the same age as her mother. Her pediatrician said her fine motor and language skills are so advanced that there were no worries re: walking a bit later than "average", but falls in the normal range, which is anytime up to 18 months.
I had a wonderful camping trip up in Divide, CO at Mueller State Park, and am now getting ready to fly to Ohio next week to spend some time with middle child and his wife. I am so grateful for my life.
Hopefully, I will have some time soon to do some reading here on SR...but hope you are all well and sober!

1Day, that's great :-). My offspring was very bright and also a late walker -- around the same age.

Budd, happy to hear you beat the evil pin setter
