4:45 AM! Went to bed for a few hours and am up again. Catching up on the 24-hour thread.
Cool to hear about the church members in SC forgiving the shooter in court. That just balances so much of the petty nastiness that goes on every day (e.g., the comments under news stories online).
Courage2, you can count me among those who find solace in this thread, as well as inspiration, fellowship and the benefit of daily recommitment.
This might be about my time to read some Wordsworth. He's probably a kindred spirit.

Healing thoughts and prayers being sent to Gramps...get better soon, we need you here!
Prayers also sent out to Hobbers and anybody else going thru hard times today.
It's 6:36 AM and I'm in for another sober 24.

Good morning. Life here has been quiet. Busy with just ordinary things. Some people may call that boring, but I see it as a blessing.
The other day I was doing yard work. I really dislike yard work and I was grumbling. Then I realized how blessed I am to have this yard and to be outside on a beautiful day and what great exercise it is, and I tried to be grateful. It was hard because I really really dislike yard work, but it did change my perspective. (I still really dislike it ~ hahahaha) So now when I have to do go work in the yard I say that I'm gonna go get blessed in the yard. Perhaps eventually my thoughts will change and I really will enjoy it.
It all starts in our minds. Change our thinking and it will change our attitude and it will change our life.
