My husband is a non drinker and I'm really not around it much. I hid my drinking.. I feel like I built some sober muscles though :) |
Today was cupcake day. Uh, YUMMY. My cooking biz has gotten busy, and that on top of my regular job has kept me away. I think of so many of you each day. I commit to 24 every morning, to me, even though I have not been here. I am sober, I am strong. 10:54 in hot Massachusetts. Shout out to my friend Strat!! 200 days this week!! So proud for you. Dane, sending positive thoughts your way. Hugs to my friends, and strength to those who struggle. We are giving nothing up. We are gaining. Never forget that. |

Another 24 please! Made it through Saturday which I was worried about. Hubby wanted me to have a G&T (..or 3!) with him, but I stayed strong. Whew... Close one. Have a great Sunday everyone.. |

I'm having a lazy Sunday morning. Kids had a sleepover at nannies last night and oh is away this weekend so I've just had a glorious 24 hours all to myself. I'm on my second coffee, and I'm listening to the birds. The noisy devils woke me up at stupid-o-clock but I forgive them. Mr blackbird was singing his little heart out again this morning and I realised that he gives 100% every single day of his life. It doesn't matter to him if it's sunny or raining, if he's searching for a mate or not, or if he's had his breakfast yet. He sings, morning, noon and evening and often in between, he sings beautifully and he does it every day no matter what. That's a pretty good philosophy for us I think. I'll take another 24. I'm quite enjoying this recovery thing. Can you tell?! Love you all. ♡♡♡ Posting from my bed lol. |
