He/she looks very focused on something SisterB (approaching mailman?)

This was the Eurotunnel a couple of hours ago

That's a tight fit, apparently you have no problem with claustrophobia. I would be Okay with it too, i guess, for a small amount of time.

Darby is his name and he is on squirrel patrol.

Enjoying the cool breeze in front of daughter's house. Pay no attention to my chariot, park beyond is a good size and Moe loves it.

i'm getting the hang of this picture thing.

Still trying to figure out Who I am. Hate to think I was a pushover all these years. We did have some good times and we did enjoy drinking with each other. He decided he had no belief system, I am a strong believer in God, very spiritual individual.

1. I am a very spiritual individual.
2. ?????

Bonjour

Arrived at hotel, just going for a late - ish dinner. We stopped for a 2 hour lunch so i'm not that hungry (plus there is the Saoutchik waistline to think about).

I originally did want a drink when the others were drinking what looked like a very nice Sancerre, but then I remembered the hangover I had during the following morning round of golf last year and it went away

... So how do you resize an image to fit in....
Used to use Powertoys from Microsoft but no good for W8.

Glad to see everyone is good. I'm still good even after a weekend of a conference where everyone else was drinking. Asked the bar tender to surprise me with a non alcoholic drink and two of them couldn't come up with anything except a mocktail, ginger beer and lime & soda. So I set them some homework, LOL.

Just watched France v England with mostly French crowd ( they won 1-0). Some cravings but it is not spoiling my evening

Ugh I had a drinking dream last night where people were trying to give me scotch whiskey (my drink of choice). I can't remember if I drank in the dream but when I woke up this morning it took me a minute or so to know it was a dream and was disturbing. I have only just shaken it off

Sisterbobby 06-10-2015 05:26 AM

sounds awful, ugh. have not had one, yet

back to work today, ugh...

day 13

Luckily, those are only dreams.

I've been having drinking dreams the last few weeks. Sometimes they leave me unsettled for several hours. The funny thing is that I don't drink in my dreams, it's usually the preparation stage: buying, meeting up with people etc Maybe that doesn't even count as a drinking dream then? ;-)
I also noticed an increase in those dreams if I'm around alcohol (in a drinking company, at an event that involves a lot of drinking).

I haven't had any drinking dreams but strong triggers when under stress. Got another staff away today, so triggers are 'game on'.
I've got enough work on today let alone take on someone elses as well.
I find cooking de-stresses me, so lunchtime it's to the shops (store) and its Fajitas for dinners tonight.

Havagooday, Everyone

I had been around drinkers that evening as IFYD mentioned but i wasn't suffering much in the way of cravings. Hey ho.

Spent much less time around booze today so hopefully it won't happen tonight.

Some more Brits have arrived at the hotel, I don't mind but I want to feel like i'm abroad

Sounds yummy! I find cooking to be as effective in slowing down my thought process (in a good way) as mindful meditation
Plus it's a great way to take care of our precious bodies - a counter action to all those years of drinking abuse
Cooking rocks

My dreams would come on even if I wasn't craving that day but just was around alcohol. I think it all happens on some subliminal level. Wishing you an alcohol free dreams tonight!
(btw I had so many drinking dreams so far that they stopped bothering me so much, just another thing we should get used to)

Thunderstorms in TO today. I love watching thunderstorms these days. My appreciation for nature has grown a great deal.

Cravings have significantly subsided after I got the sober wedding behind me. Almost like a passed a big test in my sober journey. Such a relief to experience what I've been reading about here: there is sober that feels normal, there is sober fun, there's even sober dancing! :a122:

Have a good night Class
