Nice Saoutchik! It is wonderful that you have a project to work on. Enjoy every minute of it.

Do I need to take on something else right now? No. lol But I can't not do it. I grew up in a house that was so dysfunctional and I was never told that I could do anything. I was told the opposite. I was called "Dummy" and I actually would answer to it. So that has always been playing in my head, on a loop, on repeat, over and over. But that's enough!!! I've always been to frightened to try. Scared of failure, embarrassment and rejection. But that has never silenced that voice telling me to write.

Jojo
yes you do need to take this on and you will be great. You have a great writing skill and taking a class will only improve it. Thats wonderful.

Sounds like all are busy with life. I'm still hanging in there. On to plan (b) or (c) or (j), constant change here. Get the next three days off, did not make the conference this week, but did get the colonoscopy. It took a few days for my head to clear. Took a few biopsies, but i think all is fine.
AH moved out of house and moved in with his brother. Finally. Now he can feel the inconveniences of his actions. We can add cowardness to his charterer. What a fool. Will never be nothing but a stupid racist drywaller cowardness drunk. Not a man of his words.

I want a man that will love me unwitnessed. (((someday)))

Sister you deserve someone who loves you the right way. Hope all comes back will the biopsies.

I'm back in Philly. I have to say that it really wasn't hard not drinking this time. After our last day I was like I could use a drink but not really a craving. It's nice and warm here and after a few days of chilly and rain I'm happy to be back.

Glad the colonoscopy turned out OK.

I reckon you will find things easier without your AH around Sis.

Glad you enjoyed your trip Teebee

More chaos on the tube today
it would be Friday

Was able to spend a peaceful night in MY house with my daughter and the dogs. Who needs cable when you have air antenna and a hot spot.

Had a few cravings last night but I won the battle. Yeah!!!!!

Nice to be home ha sister? Keep riding the craving waves. I'm at the mall with my teenage twins chillin having a nice time. Overall a good day and the house is clean. We did that in the morning. Maybe a fire tonight.

Yes it's good to be in your own house Sis and you Teebee. Did you mean a bonfire (I am assuming Pennyslvania is warm at this time of the year.

Went to an urban food festival in the High Street today, lots of good food and good ideas (plus some dumb ones - food delivered by drone) Would have liked to have stayed longer but I wanted to watch the tennis (Serena is in a class of her own). Too nice out to watch at home so watched it from a terrace, they serve alcohol there but we stayed at the non bar end

Hi Class.
Just checking in to say I'm alive and kicking.
On day 6 but in a whole new mindset. Back in AA and throwing myself into 12 step program.
Feeling good, determined and strong. My 16 days long relapse taught me a lot. Humbled me. God knows, I needed that.
Hope you're all doing well. Have a great week.

Evening everyone,

I have two 17 year old college girls with me on work experience this week (yeah it's a tough job but someone's got to do it). Thought I would take them to meet a customer, fortuitous timing, today is the first day of legislation that means businesses of 200+ employees have to give a gender brake own on pay.

I am pretty sure that's why I got to meet that companies big boss (a woman) who I had seen but not spoken to before.

She seemed quite impressed. Maybe i'll get some more orders

Hope everyone is well

Hey guys!

Forgive any typos , as I'm too lazy to go find my glasses. The store sold and new owners apparently are going to take over on Friday. I'm in a curfluffle. I'm really tired of being there. But I like it. It's also constant. Golf course is seasonal but I love, love, love it. I really just want to do the golf course. But I'm afraid to let go of the store. Plus with new owners it's hard to say how I will be treated. I have it really good there now. I don't know what to do.

Started my writing course and so far I'm really enjoying it and learning lots.

Ugh, I hate being indecisive! Maybe it's change I'm afraid of. But change can be good. Oh bug crap, I just don't know if I'm even making sense.

My take on that Jojo would be that if the new owners are really nice then decision made, stay on. Equally if they are bad news then leave.

Difficulty would be if they were "alright" - ie not great but not bad.

Stay there for now and see how you feel after a few weeks

Glad you are enjoying the writing job Jojo

Thanks Saoutchik, that's good advice and does make things clearer for me. They are VERY nice. Right now. lol We all know how that works. I don't take to being bossed around at all. Not for what I make there. Some may say that's a bad attitude but hey it's my attitude and I'll totally own it. LOL It's also what my custom plate on my car says.

Going to go buy some yellow legal pads of paper today, to brainstorm and write down my ideas etc. Now that's fun!

I have to work today 1-6 at the store and ughhhhhh I don't want to!! The new people are there and it just cramps my style. Maybe I'll just pull out my laptop and put my feet up like I do all the time, and they will ask me to find employment elsewhere. LOL Oh there's that terrible attitude again.
